I have received a cancellation that covers both houses - Casa Coruja and Casa Águia.

Casa Coruja is available for up to 8 nights, 1 - 9 July
It has 2 bedrooms plus a sofa bed in the lounge (suitable for 2 adults).
Maximum occupancy - 6 adults.
Price -€80.00 per night, or €500.00 for 8 nights.
Minimum stay - 3 nights

Casa Águia is available for up to 5 nights, 3 - 8 July.
It has 2 bedrooms. Maximum occupancy - 4 adults and 2 children.
Price - €80.00 per night.
Minimum stay - 3 nights.
Both houses are fully wheelchair accessible.

Recebemos um cancelamento no final de agosto. Casa Águia (máximo 4 adultos e 2 crianças) 6 noites - Domingo, 29 de agosto, até sábado, 4 de setembro. Preço total 495,00 €. Para reservar estas datas será necessário o pagamento de € 150,00. O saldo será necessário 1 semana antes da chegada. Se, devido ao COVID-19, for necessário cancelar esta reserva, todos os pagamentos serão devolvidos, na íntegra. Entre em contato comigo para maiores informações.

My apologies for the bad translation of the last post.
No we are not about to butcher our guests who are wheelchair users. Far from it!!
Just to clarify, both houses and all areas around the houses and the pool terraces are fully wheelchair accessible.
We can hire mobility equipment if required - electric care bed, hoist and a pool hoist etc.
Please advise us of your requirements and we will confirm hire prices

Como as restrições do COVID-19 estão diminuindo, oferecemos feriados de fim de semana.
Chegada ao meio-dia na sexta-feira e partida às 18h no domingo.
Datas disponíveis -
9 e 16 de abril a um custo de € 200,00 por casa
7 e 14 de maio ao custo de € 215,00 por casa.
Casa Águia, máximo 5 adultos + 1 criança + bebê
Casa Coruja, máximo 6 adultos + bebê.

As COVID-19 remains a concern for everyone, including us, we would like to take this opportunity to reassure all our guests, that your safety is of prime importance to us.
There are 2 letting houses here, Casa Águia and Casa Coruja. They are semi detached, but are totally separate. Each house has its own front door. The front doors are about 10 metres apart, so little chance of contact with your neighbours.
At the rear, each house has its own private BBQ terrace.
The swimming pool area is available to guests from both houses. Under normal circumstances guests can choose where they want to sit.
However, due to COVID-19, we have introduced strict measures to ensure that guests remain safe at all times.
There are 2 terraces beside the pool, a large sun terrace with loungers and an equally large shaded terrace with tables and chairs. These 2 terraces have now been strictly divided, such that a safe distance of 2m is maintained between guests from the 2 houses, at all times.
The pool water is constantly filtered. It is also treated with chlorine which ensures that the water remains clean, disinfected and safe for swimming, for everyone, at all times.

August 2017 was when Vale da Cegonha finally re-opened its doors, offering just what we had always intended - 2 spacious country houses and a swimming pool, that was also totally wheelchair friendly. Everyone can come and enjoy this lovely part of Portugal and it really is somewhere special.

Vale da Cegonha is located 6km from the town of Ourique, in the Lower Alentejo region. Where?? Put simply, it is 1 hour north of the Algarve beach resorts, 45 minutes away from the west coast beaches and 1.5 hours from either Lisbon to the north west or Evora and the beautiful Guadiana border, to the east. The choice is yours.

The Alentejo is described as Portugal’s ‘secret paradise’ and that is certainly true. Wide horizons, deep blue skies, fabulous sunsets and dazzling starlit skies are the norm. Add to that, a vast array of wildlife and birdlife, pristine white towns and villages like Ourique and crystal clear lakes and rivers nearby, all make up the Alentejo.

Casa Aguia and Casa Coruja each have 2 ensuite bedrooms and an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Outside, each has its’ own covered barbeque terrace which includes a dining table and chairs. It is the perfect place to enjoy an alfresco meal, while watching the sun set behind the hills. It is truly magical, as is the display of starlight, which will follow!!
