: Ponta Delgada will be the first Azorean port to welcome the luxurious cruise ship Sea Cloud Spirit, currently considered the largest sailing vessel in operation.
The ship is expected at the Portas do Mar Maritime Terminal at 13:15 on the first Saturday in August.

returns to the archipelago, but this time in a different context compared to visits made in previous years.
The newest sailboat in the prestigious fleet will make three consecutive Azorean itineraries, resulting in 18 stops on seven different islands.

The first trip begins on Sunday, August 4th, with the Sea Cloud Spirit leaving Ponta Delgada at 19:00 and heading to Horta, where it is expected to arrive on August 6th.
From Faial, the journey continues to Velas de S. Jorge, where the ship will stay for part of the 7th.
The following day is reserved for Angra do Heroísmo, and on Friday, the ship will anchor in Porto da Madalena do Pico.
Vila do Porto will welcome the debuting sailboat on the 10th, and the cruise will end on August 11th in Ponta Delgada. Another trip will begin on that day, and also on August 18th, almost identical to the first, differing only in the order of stopovers on the aforementioned islands.
Built at the Metalships & Docks shipyards in Vigo, Spain, the Sea Cloud Spirit is the third and most recent sailing vessel in the Sea Cloud Cruises fleet. It was launched in September 2021 and its main characteristics are 138 meters in length, 17 meters in breadth, 5.6 meters in draft, with a gross tonnage of 4,231 tons, and a maximum capacity to accommodate 136 guests with 90 crew members. It offers 4 decks for passengers, with a total of 69 cabins.
