When my clients arrive on the island with a forecast for rain and I tell them: “no stress” ✨
Apart from having a job as guide on my island, I do have my experiences of travel too.
I know nothing can be more disappointing then arriving at your so wished destination and the forecast to be rain for all your stay.
I guess in Azores, since everybody likes to say online is always raining, your fears towards your arrival double.
I guess you should verify your sources when looking up for information online, if it’s free, it’s not the best.
However, these people that like to brag that it’s always raining in the Azores, they are in a certain way correct, that was their experience, and many others who wander too.
The real Azoreans who have been here long enough know it’s not always raining, and they know how to properly enjoy the rain knowing all that it’s represents for them.
Yes, it rains in Azores, it’s not of this is a desert, but if was that bad, a bunch of people over 500 years would have already decided was not worth to live here isolated in the middle of Atlantic, don’t you think?
If you are looking for an authentic experience in the Azores, make sure you’ve found the proper guide, otherwise, make sure you take an umbrella with you.
