It is so gratifying to understand that our apartments and hospitality generate these kind of experiences and feelings! "Serralves em Luz" is an amazing art exhibition that transforms the entire Parque de Serralves into an amazing nocturnal experience!

It is a large outdoor exhibition which combines colour, sound and visual effects that create a magical atmosphere that envelops the entire park.

If you are in Porto till the 7th of November you need to visit it.

Parque de Serralves is about 18 min by car and 37 min by public transportation from our apartments.

É uma grande exposição ao ar livre que combina cor, efeitos sonoros e visuais que criam uma atmosfera mágica que envolve todo o parque.

Se está no Porto até dia 7 de Novembro tem de o visitar. O Jardim Botânico do Porto f**a a cerca de 18 minutos de carro e 37 minutos de transporte público de nossos apartamentos.

Have you visited the exhibition Magical Garden at the beautiful Jardim Botânico do Porto? If not, get ready for a magical journey! You are able to do it until the 3rd of October 2021.

"When the sun goes down, the Porto Botanical Garden becomes a magical world. Find special places and travel “around the world” along a path of luminous experiences. The festival offers an immersive environment along a route of more than 1km that surprises the public with themed luminous lanterns, light design, videomapping and interactive experiences.“Around the world” is the theme that takes us around the world with more than 20 luminous experiences.The trip goes through Egypt, Japan, India, the Jungle or even the time of the dinosaurs!"

Jardim Botânico Do Porto Portugal is about 10 min by car and 25 by public transportation from our apartments.

Are you looking for a relaxing stay, close enough to Porto's city center (~5 min walk), on a traditional Porto building? Have you seen our apartments?

They are on a XIX century building located right in front of the historical Jardim de São Lázaro - the oldest municipal garden of Porto.

The building and apartments have been recovered and remodeled, to ensure that you have the needed comfort, but we made sure to take care of several original architectural traits: hand painted tiles, high ceiling rooms, high wall baseboards and, on top of that, the gorgeous skylight.

It is wonderful seeing our guests appreciating these pieces of history. When they're leaving the building several slide their hands over the entry tiles to fell their texture.

Procura uma estadia relaxante, suficientemente perto do centro da cidade do Porto (~ 5 minutos a pé), num edifício tradicional do Porto? Já viu nossos apartamentos?

Os apartamentos encontram-se num edifício do século XIX situado mesmo em frente ao histórico Jardim de São Lázaro - o jardim municipal mais antigo do Porto.

O edifício e os apartamentos foram recuperados e remodelados, de forma a garantir que tem o conforto necessário, mas mantivemos vários traços arquitectónicos originais: azulejos pintados à mão, quartos com tectos altos, rodapés altos e, ainda, a linda clarabóia.

É maravilhoso ver nossos hóspedes apreciando esses pedaços de história. Ao sair do prédio, vários deslizam as mãos sobre os azulejos da entrada para sentir sua textura.

In the Immersivus Gallery - the first gallery with immersive artistic experiences in Portugal - you have available the exhibition IMPRESSIVE MONET & BRILLIANT KLIMT. Here you can dive into he universe of the french impressionist artist Claude Monet and of the austrian symbolist artist Gustav Klimt.

"Impressive Monet is a reinterpretation of the paintings from the founding father of Impressionism, showing the journey beyond the frame through the artist's endless search for capturing light."

"Brilliant Klimt's show traces the biographical path and the artistic legacy of the Austrian artist through his iconic painting - The Kiss. This will be the main thread of the journey while exploring the influences of Klimt's world."

This exhibition will be available in Alfandega do Porto until the 15th of November of 2020. We've visited it ourselves and definitely recommend it!

Did you know that Bonfim, the neighbourhood were our apartments are located, is in the top 10 coolest neighbourhoods in Europe?!

In this neighbourhood you can certainly find things to your liking from trendy independent stores, art galleries and stores (Fine Arts University’s is here also) to restaurants from classic to new concept ones.
Besides this you can also find beautiful gardens and parks like Jardim de São Lázaro and Parque de Nova Sintra were you'll be amazed with the views to Douro River.

Sabias que o Bonfim, o bairro onde os nossos apartamentos estão situados, foi eleito no top 10 dos bairros mais cool na Europa?!

Neste bairro certamente vais encontrar algo do teu agrado desde lojas indepentes, galerias e lojas de arte (a Faculdade de Belas Artes também se encontra aqui a diferentes restaurantes como clássicos ou outros com conceitos inovadores.
Para além disto, aqui encontram jardins e parque lindíssimos como o Jardim de São Lázaro e o Parque de Nova Sintra onde tens umas vistas espectaculares sobre o Rio Douro.

This is a seal of recognition, by Turismo de Portugal, to identify Local Rental Apartments that comply with the recommendations and guidelines issued by General Health Department (DGS). These were defined to help reduce the risk of contamination of these spaces with SARS-CoV-2.

Are you around Porto between now and the 1st of January 2020? If you are, you need to go and see the Christmas Circus at Coliseu. We've just gone there the other day and it was a thrilling and vibrant experience!

It has some of the best artists in the world, such as: balancing virtuoso Laurence Tremblay-Vu, Wise Fools from Finland doing triple trapeze numbers, the Russian Bar "Daring Guys" from Russia doing balance somersaults are on a bar, Konsantin the Clown and Mala da Suévia Tisch and the from Portugal
