Happy birthday to Rui Hélder 🍷🍷
Today is Rui’s birthday, a truly special person I had the privilege of meeting about eight years ago. Back then, I was searching for someone to help with transporting my guests to the apartments. Rui, with his humble nature and immense loyalty, stepped in and quickly became invaluable. Recently, he joined me as a business partner in My Dream Come Tour.

The idea of Rui Hélder becoming a business partner actually came from my clients. They often suggested we start a tour company, given how much they enjoyed my tips, restaurant reservations, and activity planning, and how they loved exploring with Rui. Rui, an agronomist engineer with vast knowledge of the region and a postgraduate degree in wine and tourism, became a cherished guide and friend to our guests. Our partnership officially began last year.

I wish Rui all the best and want to thank him from the bottom of my heart for his unwavering friendship and dedication.

I love 🍷, I love this particular event, so I couldn’t miss being present at yet another spectacular edition of Essência do Vinho.

Today, with our knowledgeable guide, Helder Melo, our clients could embark on a delightful tour of the Douro Valley.

Our journey began picking up our clients at Oporto Golden Apartment. Our first stop was in the charming town of Amarante, for a delightful breakfast .

Along the way, Rui took our guests on strategic stops, showcasing the finest offerings of the Douro region.

They indulged in a sumptuous lunch, savoring the flavors of the local cuisine.

After lunch ,they had the pleasure of sampling a selection of exquisite reserve wines, each sip a testament to the rich winemaking heritage of the Douro Valley.
