Situated on top of the rolling mountain hills overlooking the untouched nature and picturesque valley of São Brás de Alportel towards Loulé, it is a 15 minute drive away from the beaches of Praia do Ancao, Praia do Garrao and Quinta do Lago as well as 25min from the islands of Fuzeta or Olhão. Arriving at Faro airport a 20 minute drive from the coast through to the winding roads of the hills takes

you to Monte da Palmeira – an estate that stands for bohemian luxury, privacy, seclusion, nature and elegance. You will be greeted by our house manager upon your arrival, and will have a welcome basket with a selection of snacks and drinks awaiting you. The farmhouse offers everything you need: three beautiful terraces; one surrounding the house, the saltwater swimming pool and two panoramic rooftops, four bedrooms with a private bathroom each, a separate guest house, a satellite kitchen opens out towards the outdoor dining table with an outside grill. Pick some fresh herbs, lemons, and, seasonally, oranges, pomegranates, figs or olives to flavor your gums while strolling through the garden. Dip into the pool and let the sun dry your skin. Relax within lovingly picked out casual yet sophisticated furniture – an eclectic mix of rustic furnishings, antiques and collected objects. Feel at home within indigo ikat and shibori dye fabrics, paired with beautiful Portuguese handmade artisan tableware. Enjoy a fine spirit from the honesty bar as the evening kicks in and unwind in the entertainment room; fully equipped with Satellite WiFi, Amazon Fire TV, a Netflix account, multiple TV channels, a selection of books, CDs, DVDs, board games, Sonos sound system and JBL portable speakers. Our aim at Monte da Palmeira is to create a well-rounded experience for you. A setting to relax, feel free and enjoy your vacation with all senses. Our private chef will lovingly prepare the local delicacies that you desire, shop for your groceries, and introduce you to the flavors of the Algarve. Book a deep tissue massage, a personal trainer, yoga or pilates lesson. Daily housekeeping ensures an enhanced recreation.
