Dear friends of Joao Jungle ☘️ Spring is here welcoming you, and as last night the clock jumped from 2 to 3 o’clock, summertime is here too to enjoy later sundown’s, while joining our outside dinner table with other guests and serving yourself and friends/family with drinks from the well-stocked fridge behind the bar.

After a wonderful and loving year in which I was able to celebrate my (‘CoCo’s) 60th birthday, first in September in Portugal with my family (starting the weekend of 17-19 September with surfing on Friday morning, a dance meditation in the afternoon, followed by a cocktail party & pizza in the evening. The next day, Saturday, a walk to the valley for a vegetarian lunch ‘Into the Wild’, a walk back on the cliffs. Sunday morning starting with yoga to close the weekend with wine tasting) 🍷 and thereafter in the Netherlands, on my real birthday on October 19, being treated to a wonderful lunch with my close friends at Karina’s place and catered by Hannah & Guus.
Ronny and I would like to wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS 🌲 AND A HAPPY 2022 🌟 We look forward to welcoming you again next year ❤️

Max finally did it in the last corner of the race in Abu Dhabi to become world champion in Formula 1! The next season starts in March 2022 and you are welcome to watch the races at João Jungle, whether you visit us for a holiday or a long stay and of course depending on the dates. During the race we will treat you with Dutch snacks and drinks while watching the battle (if you are not occupied with surfing, taking a walk or biking in the beautiful surroundings here:-) 💥

Our Brazilian guest Daniel, who besides being an enthusiastic brilliant surfer, is also a great artist! He painted one of our older boards as a present to João Jungle, and made a beautiful painting of Spike (our dog). We are very thankful ❤️
It is exhibited with love in our garden as an amazing art object to be admired by every future guest 💙
