The main house were we there are a big living room and a fully equipped kitchen for our guest to use. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms, both with a queen size bed and each with a private bathroom also for our guests :)
6 private double suites available for our guests. Each room got its own private bahtroom with a shower, toilet and cold/hot water sink. All rooms are individually furnished to a high standard to ensure your comfortable stay. Each room has direct access to the swimming pool as well as the barn/lounge area. Every room has its own complimentary coffee/tea station, Nespresso machine, minibar fridge and a gift basket to settle you in upon your arrival. All linen, towels, hairdryer and toiletries are included. One of the rooms is located at first floor with private balcony with a beautiful view. All other rooms have a private outside seating area to enjoy your coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. Each room is about 25-30M2. Free Wifi in all rooms and public areas.
Heating for cold night and a fan for warm nights in all rooms.
Swimming pool: Our swimming pool is set in a quite part of the property were you can relax and enjoy the benefits of big salt water sized heated swimming pool. The large outdoor swimming pool is set in a relaxing garden and is available while ever the weather allows. It is kept at a comfortable 26 degrees during the summer.
Outside Kitchen: The well-equipped kitchen is provided for guests to prepare their own meals or join us and enjoy our home cooked meals. The use of the bread oven is quite an experience were we make the best pizzas and you can join us creating your own. There is also an oven, barbeque and microwave to cover all eventualities.
Barn/Lounge: The Barn, our lounge area is the perfect place to relax, have a glass of wine or taste one of our Sangrias, all prepared from local wines and liquors. We also offer wine tasting from various very unique vineries with local cheese and cut meets to complete the experience and get a taste of Portugal.
Neighborhood overview: Its quiet, rural area of Portugal with forest walks, lake, friendly neighbours and very little traffic. We have beautiful river beaches in the area, forest walks, abseiling, canoeing, fishing and walking. Within short driving distance there are many sites, cities and villages to visit.
The authentic Quinta da Alegria is an old farmhouse complex, which has been converted into a B&B 2008 and retains much of its original character.
