At the end of the year, it is quite difficult to avoid evaluating the end of this circle. But is is also hard to make definitive appreciations, once we have both out main project - Keen Tours -, and dozens of other ones, big and small, all happening at the same time!

Winter is coming!

The temperatures are dropping, the trees lost almost all the leaves, the mountains are green, brown and grey.

Most days are sunny, meaning plenty of opportunities to hike and enjoy the tranquility among Nature.

Join us on a hike - it can be as long and as difficult as you prefer, but always at a slow pace, so you can enjoy and learn about the landscape at each step.

The sky kept threatening rain, but it ended up being such a beautiful day!

Yes, some showers did happen, but they did not prevent this e-bikes tour to be wonderful, with spectacular lights throughout the day.

Autumn offers wonderful opportunities for enjoying these mountains, it's colours and light shifts.

The project we are in was recently on the news, regarding the celebration of the International Day of Rural Women .

"With a vision focused on the future and social innovation, Bem Comum Project incorporates activities aimed at young people, women and the rapprochement between urban and rural areas. Through the co-creation of solutions with communities, the project promotes sustainable and multifunctional practices, such as ecotourism, the valorization of biomass and the promotion of agro-silvo-pastoralism.”

In the Peneda-Gerês National Park, the cairns - mariolas - are incredibly useful, firstly for shepherds, and then for hikers.

Stacking rocks or destroying cairns in these mountains can result in someone losing their way and potencially risk their lives and the lives of their animals.
