A pretty cool view to wake up to, isn’t it? The Silver Coast is surfing heaven. Surfers from around the world come here to try their luck with some of the biggest waves in the world. Nazaré, just an hour drive from the Silver Nest villa, hosts one of the biggest surfing competitions on the world. The ocean there is rough and wild, with waves reaching as high as 100 feet! This quiet beach is just a 15 minute walk from our house and its unspoiled by development.

These particular pieces are on display and available for purchase at one of the filigree stores in Óbidos but you will find this style of jewelry all over Portugal.
