💦🧂👙 7 interesting facts about the Dead Sea ⬇️
1️⃣ You can enter the Dead Sea from Jordan, Israel, or Palestine. These pictures are taken in Palestine.
2️⃣ The water is 36°C degrees
3️⃣ You can’t walk barefoot outside of the water (on the sand), as it burns a LOT
4️⃣ The Dead Sea has 35% of salt (compared to the 3.5% of typical sea water salt)
5️⃣ The mud was less muddy than I expected you need to put a lot to get full coverage
6️⃣ The Dead Sea level is dropping about 1 meter per year
7️⃣ There are multiple sinkholes in the area due to the receding waters

🌸🏯🛶 Planning to go see the Cherry Blossoms in Japan this year? Don’t miss the lesser-known city of Himeji! It’s truly a Sakura 🌸 wonderland 🥰
📆 Mark your calendars: the forecast for this year’s Sakura season is predicting that the Himeji region’s cherry blossoms will start flowering around 3/25 and will peak around April 1st! 🌸
🚅 Only a 30 minute Shinkansen ride from Osaka, Himeji is the perfect day trip! You should also visit the Himeji Castle which is known as the White Heron Castle. It is the largest castle in Japan and is both a Japanese National Treasure and a World Heritage site.

💛 This is your sign to visit Park and National Palace of Pena, in Sintra - Portugal
Things to know when visiting:
- Book tickets in advance and skip the lines when going in
- The Pena Palace sits at the top of a hill and it’s a long walk uphill. Private transportation up there is forbidden, so to avoid the uphill walk, you can take an Uber or the bus, directly from Sintra, which are allowed to go up!
- When going down, walk down and go by Castle of the Moors - it’s on the way ☺️
