That time of the year where my nightmares and demons come to haunt me! Where I dare to hope to bring back the past but always have to face the reality of the present!
Dear Airbnb Support Team,
My name is João Fonseca, and I am writing to formally appeal the ban on my Airbnb account, which was enacted in December 2021.
I was honored to be one of the first hosts to offer kayak experiences when debuted its Experiences platform in Portugal in 2017. For five years, I dedicated myself entirely to Airbnb, serving over 5,000 guests and earning more than 1,000 five-star reviews. I truly believed in the values of the company and invested my heart into providing exceptional experiences.
Since my ban, I have worked diligently to rebuild my reputation, gathering positive feedback through my new venture, as evidenced by my reviews on Tripadvisor and Trustpilot. However, the absence of my Airbnb account has been devastating. This situation has taken a significant toll on my mental health and social life, and I feel I have let down my family and community.
Getting my account back means everything to me. I have watched my peers succeed in a space I once thrived in, and facing the reality of a lifetime ban feels insurmountable. I am reaching out with the hope that you might reconsider my situation. I am committed to adhering to all community standards moving forward and to restoring my standing within the Airbnb community.
