A magical place to stay in the Pyrenees
Come and enjoy the slow and relaxed pace of life in the Central French Pyrenees in our cosy 2 bedroom cottage Le Fournil, with magnificent panoramic views of the mountains. Le Fournil makes a lovely comfortable retreat for a couple, but is also spacious enough for a family of 4, as many of our regular guests will confirm. Some of them have visited every year for the last 5 years and are still not bored of it! The 10x5m inground pool has magnificent unobstructed mountain views, paved beach area, plenty of sun loungers, two big parasols and a solar shower. The pool is shared with guests in our B&B in the main house.
Peaceful and rural location, ideal for cycling, walking and all outdoors activities, or just for a relaxing vacation. Easy access to Toulouse, Tarbes-Lourdes, and Pau airports, Spain just 45 minutes away.
Le Fournil holiday cottage is full of character, its name reflecting its agricultural past, when it was the bakery and grain store to the main farmhouse Le Couloumé, built around 1850. We have lovingly transformed Le Fournil into a 2 bedroom Gite with all Mod Cons, including WiFi internet, whilst retaining most of the original features, with exposed beams in the bedrooms as well as downstairs, also the old bread oven is still in place in the sitting room.
