Satellite TV is provided and there is wi-fi with Internet connection. Our holiday accommodation adjoins the ancient mill house and overlooks quiet farmland in the village of Venda dos Moinhos. This rustic cottage retains many of its original features: exposed beams and the ancient fire place in the kitchen, where once the original mill keeper and his family would have roasted their suckling pig (l

eitão) and made the famous calde verde soup. Today a modern cooker is in its place and the kitchen-dining room benefits from a modern refit (basic kitchen equipment, washing machine and fridge freezer included). Adjoining the kitchen-dining room is a comfortable, spacious double bedroom with ensuite shower room, sofa and sitting area. The sofa opens out into a bed to provide extra sleeping accommodation, ideal for children. Again, exposed beams and the views over the rear farmland set the ambiance for this delightful cottage. Both the kitchen-dining room and the bed-sitting room can be accessed from a secluded courtyard with a barbecue for your use. All bed linen and towels are included (but not towels for swimming or other outside activities).
