DFJ Vinhos Vineyards - Quinta de Porto Franco, Quinta do Rocio and Casal Sapo
Here you can see the vineyards where the grapes that give rise to DFJ's great wines are born and grow. Located in Alenquer, these vineyards of various national and international varieties still have some Atlantic influence on the west side and on the east side are protected by the Serra de Montejunto. We are not receiving Grapes only at Quinta da Fonte Bela, here we can see the arrival and entry of Grapes of Caladoc in the Adega da Quinta de Porto Franco !!
For those who do not know the Caladoc caste, this breed is a cross of Grenache and Malbec created by Paul Truel in 1958 at the Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique.
