Din păcate și anul acesta: Aproape o remorcă plină cu deșeuri menajere. Am găsit totul pe drumul nostru în jos.
Să încercăm împreună să reducem cantitatea de deșeuri aruncate, arată atât de urât și nu este necesar cu un serviciu bun de colectare a gunoiului.
Mulțumesc Gabi și Vasi pentru ajutor.

Unfortunately again this year: Almost a full trailer with household waste. Found everything along our way down.
Let's try together to reduce the amount of waste thrown away, it looks so ugly and it is no longer necessary with a good garbage collection service.

Even though some pictures might suggest spring time.... We had a great New Years evening in our tavern and wish to thank our guests from 4x4 Experts Offroadadventure for sharing this special evening with us.

Would you like to explore the beautiful mountains of Maramureș on a quad fully road legal? We just invested in our first one for our guests to rent while staying at our place.
half a day: RON 300
full day RON 500
When, in combination with renting our guesthouse: every 4th day, half a day rent for free.
For those who don't stay at our premises:
half a day: RON 400
full day RON 700
Deposit: RON 500
Minimum age 21 and in possession of a valid 'B' driving license.

It has been noted that many people are afraid to travel to Romania given the dire situation in Ukraine. Of course, this hits us all the more because we just had 2 years of Corona behind us. However, the map clearly shows that military activity is far away. Quite apart from the fact that Romania is a NATO member and an attack here seems unthinkable at this point in time.
Hopefully this post will persuade some doubters to check out this beautiful country full of off-road opportunities.

Not decided on your vacation for this summer yet? We might have just the idea for you!

Spend your next summer holiday with your family and friends in our traditional Romanian guesthouse. Have some fun off-road or simply enjoy the tranquility of the mountains with its views. The cottage is equipped for 6 persons including a mini-kitchen with a 2-burner electric stove, fridge, plates and cutlery. Alternatively we also serve breakfast and traditional Romanian dinners in our tavern.

Despite rising prices all over Europe we were able to maintain a good value for money experience.

We are all very moved by the events in Ukraine at the moment and we are also trying to do our (small) part. Of course, we wish all those who defend their country, the families in troubles and who in one way or another are helpful to our neighbors a lot of strength and luck in this very difficult mission.

At the same time, 'normal life' continues and people who plan their holidays and think about coming to Romania, start asking questions about the situation in this area, so close to the border of our neighboring country Ukraine. Fortunately, I can report that, apart from the many foreign cars on the roads here, from what we hear through the news, and the skyrocketing oil and gas prices, there is no sign of the war (yet).

No one can see into the future but Romania is also a NATO member so if the war spreads here then we can talk about a next world war and I think at that point we will have other priorities than planning our holiday trips.
For now we can say that we are looking forward to a busy off-road/overlanding year from all of you and we hope to welcome many of you here to this beautiful country and our campground.

Oricine cunoaște refugiații ucraineni care intră prin Nordul României anume la punctul de trecere a frontierei Sighet: Putem oferi cazare pentru până la 8 persoane la SC Offroadventure Srl. La fel și îmbrăcăminte și mâncare. Dacă aveți o nevoie aici, vă rugăm să ne contactați. Încercăm să luăm legătura cu autoritățile române pentru a stabili dacă și ce fel de ajutor este necesar. Dacă va fi necesar, partenerul nostru in Germania ne va ajuta se aducem în România ce trebuie cât mai curând posibil.
