‘’Sierra, for me, is about friendship, music, and the sea. But, on second thought, it’s also about love, joy, and peace, combined in the most beautiful way.

Having filmed two editions already, I’ve had the chance to meet almost everyone, as I was always moving from one boat to another. It fascinates me how each group and each boat has its own unique energy.

Sierra gave me happiness from the simplest moments, like how at night, with the boats lit up from below, they seemed to ‘fly on water,’ and the fish looked like underwater birds. Or another time, when we sailed through rough seas and I listened to the sound of the waves crashing against the catamaran. Or when we went to an almost deserted island at sunrise one day. These are the kinds of moments it’s all about.”

‘’ isn’t just about what you see online.

It’s about the people you meet, the small families formed on each boat, and the big one created by the end of the festival.

It’s about sharing coffee with your neighbors, or that last bottle of prosecco left on a boat.

The bruises from moving around in the waves, the music you never expected to dance to in the middle of the sea, the sailing lessons that spark new passions, and sunrises and sunsets in places you’d never otherwise see.

Sierra leaves a mark long after the festival ends, until the next one begins.’’
