💎This lovely white pebbled beach is located about 40 kilometres southwest from Lefkada town and you can go there either by car or by boat from Nydri or Vassiliki

💎Bookended by a cliff, you have to descend a 100 + stairs to reach this breathtaking beach with fine powdery sand and calm sapphire waters. There is a restaurant up top with staff on the beach ready to take your order and send your food and drinks down to you.
Extra tips:
👉In the high season (mid-July-mid-August) the beach and the parking area get busy, so try to visit Porto Katsiki in the early morning or late afternoon to avoid the crowds.
👉Porto Katsiki is ideal for snorkeling because of the crystal clear sea, so don't forget your mask!
👉Wear your sneakers (and not sandals) for the 10-minute walk down to the beach.
👉If you take the boat, keep in mind that you will have to swim to the shore because boats are not allowed to go out on the beach.
👉The waters here get deep quickly so be extra careful especially if you have small kids.
👉When there are high waves, you should pay extra attention even if you are an experienced swimmer.

Great Divide Bike Trail - North US

If your choice of spending holiday is bike trails, here you have the greatest of all!

It is no doubt this trail is " Mount Everest of cycling adventure" and depending on what 's your level of endurance you'll say about this trail either " it's a slice of paradise" or " it's a piece of hell" !
Great Divide Bike Trail is one of the longest cycling routes in the world. Comprising 5 different sections that add up to 3300 Km ( 2050 miles) , this US-to- Canada stretch trace the route to freedom for slaves in the days before the Civil War.

It features over 60 000 meters of elevation gain through some of the most remote and mountainous regions of North America. It crosses through some of the most diverse wilderness terrain a cyclist could encounter , much of it without services and amenities.
To complete the entire route takes about 3 months, during which time you'll likely encounter ice, snow, bears, wolves and rockfalls.

Once you've done this tour you will feel many emotions and the feeling you've got the world at your feet, literally but i don't recommended to people who are not well prepared !
Love to cycle? Choose a portion of it, make it happen in a day trip and reward yourself after, as every step count.

🇲🇽 TAMALES are an icon of Mexican food. You can eat these all day every day, especially on the Day of The Candelaria. These can be wrapped in corn leaves or banana leaves and stuffed with any stew of your choice. The most common are mole, shredded chicken or pork with green or red salsa, pepper with cheese, and yellow corn kernels.

🇲🇽 MOLE is a sauce made from a mixture of dried chilies, tomatoes, chocolate, seeds, and spices. It is one of México´s most representative dishes. There are several versions of its origin. One of them says that Poblano Mole, whose original recipe involved about 100 ingredients.

🇲🇽 PESCADO ZARANDEADO is a very popular dish from the Mexican coasts and it’s a pre-Hispanic delight. It is prepared by seasoning the fish with lemon and chili sauce, then smoking it with mangrove wood.

💎 Mexico is a poor country and the good side of this unfortunate true is seen in the food. Not having a food industry based on chemicals, they prepare the food all natural, bio and with a magnificent taste.

So what if it is September and you just return from you summer holiday! Take a break,extend your summer and hit Mallorca Island , as there the summer last till late october.

Here are my 3 choices of perfect beaches :

🐳 Es Trenc- this sandy beach extends along the southern part of the island for more than two kilometres and looks like one of those paradisiacal beaches of the Caribbean: all shallow, crystal-clear water and fine white sand. Part of the beach offers a nudist area.

🐳 Caló des Moro- The cove Es Caló des Moro is one of the most famous beaches on Mallorca because of its spectacular beauty. It's a tiny cove, with only a very small area of sand at the foot of the cliff you descend to get to the water. It looks like a tongue of water jutting into rocks and cliffs, creating a spectacular scene with its transparent, turquoise waters

🐳 Playa de Muro - It's impossible to write a list of the best beaches on Mallorca without including the amazing Playa de Muro. This incredibly long sandy beach connects Alcudia with Can Picafort and is an oasis for visitors looking for sun and sea. Even if there are all sorts of services and hotels nearby, this beach is still a unique natural refuge. Its beach clubs and beachfront paella bars are also famous.

Get you sunscreen, a good book, your perfect sunglasses and forget about the office and the mails that awaits you, forget is already autumn and finish the summer in style!

Once a Provencal seaside village, St-Tropez has become a playground of the rich and famous. After seeing all the hip spots in town, expensive pools and fancy restaurants try to enjoy St-Tropez for what it originally was and still is, an exceptionally french coastal village!
Vieille Ville - The old quarter ( closed to traffic in summer ) consists mainly of narrow streets of small old houses , with chic little boutiques. On the edge of the quarter is the main square, Place de Lices where locals play boules ( traditional french game) under the trees.

Musee de L'Annonciade - At the other end of the quay you will find this art museum set in a former 16th century religious building. Paintings by Seurat, Signac, Cross, Matisse are in display including very interesting ones of the Riviera a century ago. Unusual drawings of Picasso show the circle of artist friends.

Citadelle - Musee Naval - East of the town, on a hilltop full of pine trees and oleander, the Citadelle is an area of ruined 16th and 17th century defences. The fortress houses the Naval Museum, dedicated to the history of St -Tropez, with an interesting room on the 1944 Allied invasion.
After such an intense day of walking around you definitely deserve a treat. Try one of the famous bars on Pampelonne bay!

When you say Italy you say Pizza, Pastas and Ice Cream. Everybody knows it but what about trying some other local dishes who taste even better, if that is even possible!

🇮🇹 Arancini are fried rice balls. There are two main types: Roman and Sicilian. Both are filled with ragu or tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and Arborio rice, used to make risotto. The difference is that the Sicillian arancino recipes typically add beef and peas. Arancini are coated in breadcrumbs and deep fried giving them a golden and crispy outside, which is how they got their name “Arancini”, which means little orange.

🇮🇹Ossobuco is a dish from Milan and is the best example of elaborate Italian cuisine. It is slowly cooked and may take up to three hours to be ready, but that results in a meat so delicious and tender that it’s going to be worth the wait. Ossobuco is veal shanks with a red or white wine sauce, vegetables, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and other spices

🇮🇹Truffles are a highly aromatic fungus that are found near the tree roots in the forests of Piedmont and Umbria between the months of November and March. They are found by trained dogs and may be white truffles, which are stronger, or black truffles with a lighter taste and smell. With a pasta dish, a salad, or even a breakfast egg, truffles will add a strong, but delicious, special fragrance to your food.

🇮🇹Fiorentina is the most famous Italian beef steak and bears the name of its city: Florence. The real Fiorentina is made from specimens of the Chianina breed. The meat must be matured for about twenty days and when cut looks like a classic T-bone steak.
It follows a very precise weight and cut, as well as cooking times and methods, and must remain rare.

In contrast to touristy Taormina, this fabulous Baroque town called Noto, in southeast Sicily, transports visitors to an era where the charm of the old times seems to remain intact.

You will spot cigar-chomping men playing cards at café tables, craft shops, ceramicist’s workshops, and gelaterias serving artisanal granita, sorbets, and the best ice cream on Earth, made with local ingredients like Sicilian prickly pears and the island’s prized Bronte pistachios.

Saint Denis Cathedral - Paris- France

The Basilica of Saint-Denis is the earliest known example of Gothic architecture.

The cathedral is on the site where Saint Denis, the first bishop of Paris, is believed to have been buried. According to the "Life of Saint Genevieve", written in about 520, he was sent by Pope Clement I to evangelise the Parisii. He was arrested and condemned by the Roman authorities.

From the 7th century onwards the Basilica of St Denis is known as the burial place of the kings and queens of France. It retained this role for hundreds of years and all but three of France's monarchs were buried there, including the famous Louis XIV, Marie Antoinette and his husband Louis XVI.

The cathedral, alongside with the crypt, where rests the kings and queens of France, reflects one of the most important period of France history.
You don't want to miss such a great monument while in Paris, even if you're staying just for a few days.
From central Paris you have many options of buses and Metro lines.
