Happy 45 years, Friendship Force!!
Forty-five years ago this month, the Friendship Force was born. How are you celebrating?
FFI is celebrating all of the wonderful people who have given richer meaning to the word "friendship" over these past 45 years. We celebrate those citizen ambassadors who look for the good in people, who celebrate and embrace differences in people and who live out the Friendship Force mission of breaking down barriers that separate us. After all, when you do that, you realize that at the very center of everything, we are all more alike than we are different.
Our challenge to you today is to make an effort to see through all the barriers that so easily cause separation and division and focus instead on the people who are at the heart of all nations. As Friendship Force members, do differently than those around you are doing because you have experienced a better way to live together in this great big world.
