The Kalyazin Bell Tower towers roughly 75 meters above the Uglich Reservoir. The belfry was built at the end of the 18th century and had a 17,000 kg bell that was cast to celebrate Nicholas II of Russia’s coronation. The belfry also had construction elements dating back to the end of the 17th century. However the construction of the Uglich Dam submerged the medieval part of with city of Kalyazin, including the bottom portion of the bell tower, under trapped water. Today the bell tower remains as a symbol of old Russia and the Orthodox Church holds services there multiple times a year.
Moscow is known for having some of the most beautiful stations in the world, with high ceilings, marble columns, sparking chandeliers and stained glass windows. The wonderful timelapse video showing how beautiful Baikal Lake is, especially in winter. Situated in south-east Siberia, the 3.15-million-ha Lake Baikal is the oldest (25 million years) and deepest (1,700 m) lake in the world. It contains 20% of the world's total unfrozen freshwater reserve. Known as the 'Galapagos of Russia', its age and isolation have produced one of the world's richest and most unusual freshwater faunas, which is of exceptional value to evolutionary science.

The Peacock Clock at the State Hermitage Museum in Russia appears like a gilded garden, but on certain days the 18th century timepiece-automaton still springs into mechanical life.
The clock begins its show with some eerie chime music to which the owl turns its head. Then the peacock gracefully turns its neck and lifts its tail slowly before quickly turning around to display its fan of golden feathers. The spectacle concludes with the crowing of a rooster below. The cycle is meant to represent the end of night and the rise of the sun, suggesting the continuity of life. The actual dial of the clock is hidden in a mushroom, and a squirrel, fox, and other creatures can be spied among the metal foliage.

Moscow Opens the World's Largest Outdoor Ice Rink
Russia is a country known for its flat landscapes and freezing temperatures so it's obvious the world's largest ice rink is in the country's capital, Moscow.
The artificial ice rink opened on 28 November at the National Exhibition of Economic Achievements (VDNKh) in an area of the city between the Peoples’ Friendship fountain and the Stone Flower fountain.
There is a total of 20,500 square metres of ice and visitors are guided around by entertainers who show them the many sections of the colossal rink, which features a Lovers’ Alley and a playground as well as a professional hockey rink and a large space for skating.
To get a sense of the sheer size of the rink, video news agency Ruptly sent its resident drone to fly over the icy expanse. The footage shows what appears to be a cross between an ice city and a snow motorway, with various lanes and dozens of different routes around the large rink.

The main idea of this video is to showcase Russia, its history, its people, their inventions and what Russia has already left and continues to leave as its own mark on the entire world via the unique Russian alphabet, and what people in other countries, even Russians themselves sometimes do not even recognize as their very own.
