Gishwati-Mukura National Park and Biosphere reserve is made up of 2 forests, Gishwati being the large one and Mukura the small one. The park covers 32 square kilometers of Land in the Southwest of Rwanda and is home to a group of 20 chimpanzees which live alongside Golden Monkeys, L’Hoests and Blue monkeys. It is, also, a home of more than 395 bird species and 60 tree species.

Activities that can be done in the park include hiking, guided chimp and monkey trekking, bird watching and so on….
