Imagine starting your morning early, the crisp mountain air filling your lungs as you begin the trek through the lush forest of Volcanoes National Park 🏞️. After about 25 minutes of walking through the serene wilderness, surrounded by towering bamboo and distant calls of nature, you finally spot them ---- the golden monkeys 🐒.
Their playful antics and curious glances make every step of the journey worthwhile. Watching them leap from tree to tree as the morning sun filters into the forest is like stepping into a nature documentary.

EASTERN LOWLAND GORILLA, KAHUZIU-BIEGA NATIONAL PARK, DR CONGO. Meet Bunone, a 16 year old Silverback. Super friendly.

TARANGIRRE NATIONAL PARK. This little known National Park is a pleasantly surprising gem. Known as the Elephant Park of the Northern Circuit, it abounds with plenty of other wildlife and a unique ecosystem of forest, palm and giant baobab trees. I was told that at this time of the year the Elephants often migrate to Lake Manyara but we where lucky enough to spot a giant herd of over 100 Elephants. A photo or video could not cover the size of the herd so sorry about not being able to see what we saw. I'm told that in the dry season the animal density at this park is incredible and the best in Tanzania. After seeing a tonne of animals during the wet season, I'm definitely coming back for a look in the dry. Enjoy.
