Many people believe that the most dangerous animals are predators (such as lions, leopards and cheetahs) – this is incorrect – they much prefer to munch on a juicy zebra, wildebeest or an antelope. The most dangerous animals in Africa are the hippo and the elephant – they easily account for more deaths than predators (predators usually attack livestock instead of people). Though they are vegetarians, they will violently defend their territory. For hippos, it is the water they are soaking in or the area around them if heading to land to graze at night, and for elephants, it is wherever they happen to be. Most dangerous of them all is the lone male elephant who has been driven away from their herd (the adults in a herd are only female) as they can become very aggressive. https://sawasawasafaris.com

Lesson!

A lovely little girl was holding two apples with
both hands. Her mum came in and softly asked
her with a smile: my sweetie, could you give your mum one of your two apples? The girl looked up at her mum for some seconds, then she suddenly took a quick bite on one apple, and then quickly on the other. The mum felt the smile on her face freeze. She tried hard not to reveal her disappointment. Then the little girl handed one of her bitten apples to her mum,and said: mummy, here you are. This
is the sweeter one.

No matter who you are, how experienced you are, and how knowledgeable you think you are, always delay judgement. Give others the privilege to explain themselves. What you see may not be the reality. Never conclude for others. Which is why we should never only focus on the surface and judge others without understanding them first.

She asked him, 'How much are you selling the eggs for?'
The old seller replied, 'Rs.5/- an egg, Madam.'
She said to him, 'I will take 6 eggs for Rs.25/- or I will leave.'
The old seller replied, 'Come take them at the price you want. May be, this is a good beginning because I have not been able to sell even a single egg today.'

She took the eggs and walked away feeling she has won. She got into her fancy car and went to a posh restaurant with her friend. There, she and her friend, ordered whatever they liked. They ate a little and left a lot of what they ordered. Then she went to pay the bill. The bill costed her Rs.1,400/-. She gave Rs. 1,500/- and asked the owner of the restaurant to keep the change.

This incident might have seemed quite normal to the owner but, very painful to the poor egg seller.

The point is,
Why do we always show we have the power when we buy from the needy ones? And why do we get generous to those who do not even need our generosity?

I once read read somewhere:

'my father used to buy simple goods from poor people at high prices, even though he did not need them. Sometimes he even used to pay extra for them. I got concerned by this act and asked him why does he do so? Then my father replied, "It is a charity wrapped with dignity, my child”

Racism is a sign of ignorance, in my opinion. It's people who haven't been anywhere, haven't seen the world.

FACTS ABOUT ANKOLE COWS

1. Ankole's have strong herding and protection instincts. Adults bed down in a circle facing out with calves in the center.
2. Some tribes people consider ankole to be sacred animals.
3. Ankole were first introduced to the United States in the 1960s from a small seed stock in European zoos. Exportation of ankole from Africa was banned in the 1930s. Today, less than 700 purebred ankoles are registered in the U.S.
4. Ankole were first domesticated in parts of Africa such as Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya for thousands of years. These native cattle are adapted to survive several months without ample food and water.

ECOLOGY AND CONSERVATION
In Uganda, the Nkole tribe's Sanga variety of these cattle is known as Ankole. In Rwanda and Burundi, the Tutsi tribe's Sanga variety is called the Watusi. The Rwanda common strain of Watusi is called Inkuku. The giant-horned strain, owned by the Tutsi kings and chiefs, is called the Inyambo, though some current tribal reports claim that this type is now extinct.
Traditionally, they supplied milk to their owners, but were only rarely used for meat production, since an owner's wealth was counted in live animals. Milk production was not high, with a typical cow producing only two pints of milk daily, although an exceptional one could manage up to eight pints. Over the last ten years, the national government has attempted to select for animals, which produce more milk and have better meat production. Famine and disease, as well as the conflict with traditional practices, have slowed this effort. Ankole-Watusi meat has very little fat and lower cholesterol than other commercial beef.

Van Vicker was asked in a recent interview how his wife, Adjoa cope's with his career and his constant travelling...below was his repsonse;

VAN VICKER
"As for my wife, Adjoa, I think she is going through a lot as a result of my career, but I can see that she is a strong woman.
I mean, she was used to me always being around, and then overnight, everything changed. She is very understanding and it is amazing to me.

I mean there are times where I get to Ghana today and I am on another flight the same day or the next day to a different country.
God knew my destiny and so He gave me the perfect wife."

MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BE THE HEAD OF YOUR HOME. AMEN
