A delegation of 80 Saudi businessmen representing more than 50 Saudi companies and representatives of national specialized bodies and centers visited the factory of Zamil Steel Buildings Vietnam Company in the Vietnamese capital, Hanoi, on September 13, 2023. The visit aims to explore investment opportunities and enhance trade, investment and industrial cooperation between the two friendly countries.

Zamil Steel has been awarded a contract by SEPCO Electric Power Construction Corporation to design, manufacture, and supply more than 6,000 metric tons of pre-engineered steel buildings for the Engine Manufacturing Factory (EMF), a joint venture between Saudi Aramco, Dussur, and Hyundai Heavy Industries, located in the industrial city of Ras Al-Khair in eastern Saudi Arabia.

The total area of the EMF project is 150,000 square meters, with an annual production capacity of 30 two-stroke engines, 235 four-stroke engines, and 160 marine pumps.

With its exceptional engineering expertise and vast production capacity, Zamil Steel has earned the trust of top contractors and clients for numerous large-scale and advanced industrial projects worldwide.

Zamil Steel, a global leader in the engineering and manufacturing of various high-quality steel products and the Middle East’s premier supplier of pre-engineered steel buildings and structural steel products, has recently been awarded a contract by Hard Mission Events Company to design, manufacture, and supply pre-engineered steel buildings for the Royal Outlook Building at Jeddah’s Formula One Circuit, in the western region of Saudi Arabia.

The project presents a considerable design engineering challenge, as these unique and complicated structures are irregular in shape. There are five non-identical buildings, each with a flat roof made from a 150-mm-thick reinforced concrete slab and with concrete block walls.

The Jeddah Corniche Circuit was constructed in the Saudi Arabian Red Sea port city of Jeddah to host the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in December 2021. It features the longest and fastest street circuit in Formula One history. The penultimate race concluded one of the most thrilling Formula One seasons.

Zamil Steel was chosen for this important project because of its proven technical expertise in delivering high-quality products and solutions and because of the client’s confidence in its ability to meet the unique challenges that this project presents. This significant award will be added to Zamil Steel’s record of achievements and will undoubtedly lead to the securing of further prestigious contracts in the future.

Zamil Steel has completed its contract for the design, manufacture, and supply of steel structures, including custom-made sandwich panels and roof platforms, for the cinema area of The Esplanade cinema building in Riyadh, in the central region of Saudi Arabia.

Situated within Riyadh’s must-visit shopping and luxury lifestyle destination, Vox Cinemas The Esplanade is an integrated family entertainment center with a wide selection of games, such as bowling, billiards, and air hockey. Zamil Steel has recently been awarded a contract by Al Jawhara Al Kubra Real Estate Development and Investment Company to design, manufacture, and supply pre-engineered structural steel buildings, including custom-made sandwich panels, for The Village Mall project, located in Jeddah in the western region of Saudi Arabia.

The Village Mall, on the north side of the city on Al Haramain Expressway in Jeddah, is a fabulous project spread over an area of more than 100,000 square meters, on three levels, with a total built-up area of over 208,000 square meters. It comprises a world-class luxury hotel with direct access to the mall and a great outdoor walkway with a wonderful atmosphere.

The mall includes a cinema, hypermarket, 132 retail shops, 45 fine-dining restaurants, a food court, a theme park entertainment area, and 16 anchor stores.

Zamil Steel Buildings Co., Egypt has been awarded a contract by China Railway Construction Engineering Group for the Light Rail Transit project in Cairo, Egypt.

Under the terms of the contract, Zamil Steel Egypt will supply custom-made steel structures for the overhead catenary system and all supporting units for the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works, using around 2,120 metric tons of steel, for the light rail transit (LRT) project, which will connect El Salam City and the New Administrative Capital through 10th of Ramadan City in Egypt.

The 90-kilometer high-speed rail line will enter passenger service in October 2021, with a capacity of 500,000 commuters per day. It guarantees speedy transportation between Cairo and the new cities (Obour – Mostakbal – Shorouk – New Heliopolis – Badr – Industrial Zone and the 10th of Ramadan – the New Administrative Capital) with a total of 16 stations.
