The story began in 1938 with Al Kadi Family when they started importing food commodities from India and Bahrain.

Their economic activities were located in Jubail City (Eastern Shore of Saudi Arabia), but after Oil Discovery and Aramco establishment, they moved to Dammam and as per a wise, an ancient observation states that "Even the mighty oak tree was once a tiny seed," a new business line was added, shipping to wholesalers in other parts of Saudi Arabia.
