Malaita is such a unique destination. A must see off the beaten track but only 30minutes by flight or 2 hours by a comfortable Express boat.
A destination best for Cultural experience, Bird watching, breathtaking waterfalls, Surfing and plenty more adventures.

Today concludes our Battle of Guadalcanal WW2 Anniversary Tours.

This week have been fun filled with WW2 Historical, Cultural and adventurous days of touring.
Thank you to our World War 2 Historical Tour Wholesalers: Valor Tours, The US National WW2 Museum Tours and Go Tours Australia.

Its been a successful week of miliary historical tours on Guadalcanal and our annual Tulagi WW2 Cruise.
The surprise cultural welcome in Tulagi was a blast to the whole Cruise experience.

Much appreciation Birding in the Islands. We look forward for more collaboration and more Bird Watchers with Photography visiting our many islands. The endemic species will now be seen more.

Already thousands of kilometres away from Solomon Islands but the bonds have already been forged. Will be at the Global Birdfair this weekend with some of my photographs from this magnificent collection of near a thousand islands on display. Giving thanks to the folks who made this happen, special mention to talented local guide John, without his direction and knowledge I surely would've missed most of the birds there. Come say hi (and hear some stories) at the Birding the Islands booth tomorrow through Sunday!

During the Covid pandemic our team with collegues from National Association of Inbound Tour Operators (Pure Solomons and Destination Solomons) used that free time to build Japanese WW2 monuments and Shrines in West Guadalcanal. Tagio tumas Ministry of Tourism for funding this small but very important project. You believed in us and today we get to introduce Japanese Tour groups to Cape Esperence sites.

Its is satisfying indeed to see our Japanese Tour groups now enjoying the views and to have proper shrines to able to pay their respects to those who had lost their lives/fought in the Battle of Guadalcanal.
Product development is always our company's No.1 priority.

Was an awesome 3 days of Tours for P&O Cruises passengers. From Full day Cultural, World War Historical tours, sighseeing to Beach tours. By far our Beach Tours have been our largest sellout. We were able to offer our beach tours with Watersports Kayaks, snorkeling, fresh fruits of the season, fresh coconuts and a taste of our very own Solbrew beer. The best of a day trip out of Honiara is to visit the home of the famous Shell Money (Tafuluae), and island boat builders.
Sharing pictures of an cultural experience day trip to Taflabana House in Langalanga Lagoon.
Our guests had an awesome experience seeing Shell money making as well as the traditional boat builders.

Adventure awaits at Savo Island Day Tours.
Our last Friday Tour was so fortunate on their 20-minute boat trip to sight Dolphins on their way to Savo and whales on their way back to Vila, West Guadalcanal.
The volcanic island offered for our Guests of USNS Mercy hikes to the rugged terrain crater and hot water springs. Savo Sunset Lodge for final stop for lunch and refreshing drinks before returning back to Honiara.

Its been an amazing 2 weeks of guided tours to Parangiju Mountain Lodge for USNS Mercy Team, Visitors and participants here for the Pacific Games. Tenaru Waterfalls has been a daily sell-out and has made its mark as the Must See and Do activity for Guadalcanal and Honiara. The improved trails has helped so many tick their bucket list to see the falls.. Its long but worth it says one participant for the Games.
The Bat Cave although is short but have a rugged trail, still enjoyable for the Adventurous.

What a great party it was today at the Falls. Another large group from USNS Mercy flooded in to the great Tenaru falls today.
Take heart, despite the need for at least medium or better higher level of fitness, one visitor mentioned "You walk this trail every day, you live forever 🙂. ". Tenaru Waterfalls is one of the must see for adventure seekers when in Honiara, and Guadalcanal.

Today, our Tours team did a guided tour for staff and crew of USNS Mercy to Savo Island. Hot water springs, hiking to crater, its all part of the adventure and day trip to Central Island Province. Its a scenic drive to Visale before a 20 minute boat crossing to Savo Island.

WW2 Historical tour sites are still always popular. We are happy and will continue on to support The pagoda and tunnel. The underground tunnel is one of the last remaining tunnels from the Battle of Guadalcanal.
