Seychelles crowned best child-friendly destination in the world
Seychelles has been recognised as the best country in the world to visit with children, according to a recent study by Go2Africa. The research, which analysed nearly 4,000 hotels, attractions, and restaurants globally, found Seychelles to be the top destination for family travel. The archipelago stood out with an impressive 29.73% of its hotels, attractions, and restaurants deemed “child-friendly”— the highest percentage worldwide. Ms. Christine Vel, Director for Africa at Tourism Seychelles, highlighted what makes Seychelles so appealing to families: “Seychelles delivers everything anyone could want for a memorable family-friendly holiday: natural beauty, safety, and a range of activities that cater to families. Its picture-perfect beaches, warm weather, and calm, protected waters are especially ideal for child-friendly watersports, as well as snorkelling and swimming.”
