Today we witnessed the very first event for the year 2025, at the Academy.

Three different overseas mission:
The countries are Dubai, Mauritius and Maldives.

2 staff Members Staff and four ADHM Learners to Dubai for the MEA Future Leaders Challenge on 20th January 2025. The delegation will be travelling with Director Richard Mathiot as the Head of Delegation.

8 staff Members to Constance Hotel for a two-weeks cross exposure as from 20th January 2025. This is in line with the Agreement we have with Constance.

2 staff Members our Registrar Ms Savinia and Head of ADHM, Ms. Ursula, to the Maldives for the last evaluation of the ADHM Learners doing the Internship over there on 21st January 2025. The delegation will then travel back to Seychelles with the Learners.

The Seychelles Tourism Academy is sad to announce the passing of our colleague Francis Figaro. The funeral will be on Monday 25th November at the Good Shepherd church followed by burial at the Port Glaud cemetery.

Rest in peace dear Francis, nou Bouldou.

Today we organized our creole day at the Academy. Traditional games, creole buffet, maryaz Tifin, where we had two couples, and Bal kreol.
DISH came to join us by selling some products.
Our stag Aires from Reunion were also present.

Main objective is information about demolition of Mess Hall Kitchen and Restaurant; Exam schedule and Work-base Experience.

The International Chefs’ Day 2024 was celebrated on Monday 28th October by Carana Beach Hotel in collaboration with Seychelles Tourism Academy and Hospitality Supplies Ltd. A ‘Dyalog’ between Chefs working in Seychelles was conducted. This will be followed by a small reception to celebrate the International Chefs' Day, which is usually celebrated every 20th October.

Seychellois and International Chefs were invited to participate in the event, which took place at the Seychelles Tourism Academy, La Misere

We made it special, by wearing our Chef's Jacket to the event!

This week we received the donation of a coffee machine from Tropical Store. The supplier for lavazza coffee. We thank Tropical Store for their support towards learning and teaching of our young Seychellois.

The Learners Council today organised a study skills refresher session for some learners, which was facilitated by a lecturer from SITE. All went well and the learners learned quite a number of things.

She then pursued her studies at Shannon College of Hotel Management by joining the final year of Bachelor studies.
