It's that time of year again...
Trout reproduction time in our hidden forest creeks is now in full swing.

Never ending story....
The other day I traveled by flight from Mora- Arlanda- Helsinki- to Rovanimei Finland to pick up the guide truck from the mechanic shop it has bin at for near 40 days since break down on north Norway Hosted trip package in July.

Well.... I almost got back, but after about 1000km, the "check engine" light turned on. Now the truck is on another mechanical shop in Sweden and waits for further investigation of problem.

So by that it feels we are back at square one again....
Sorry for eventual inconvenience for upcoming guiding clients. All customers are noticed of current situation.

A fantastic fun guiding today of Matt & Claire from Maryland, USA in our local river. A full day in nice surroundings, including "Swedish fika" and Anglermans wilderness wraps to treat on. Both of them left here as improved fishermen with new experiences and tips and trix to use in their own future fishing adventures.

Thank you both for the opportunity to guide you to your first Grayling and Native Trout on this side of "The pond"!

Calendar mish mash days ahead....
Need to inform that due to the Guide pickup engine break down we endured in Lapland Finland last week, we are now in a bit of Limbo and waiting for further info of everything. We are in contact with booked guidings to give furst hand info when we get it how the near future looks like regarding our transportation solutions.

Such an incredible creature this is!
They hatch in a river far north, migrate out to Arctic sea, returns a few years later to spawn. And we are so far lucky to have the possibility to catch ( and release) them on the fly rod in beautiful rivers and stunning scenery.

Stop or reform fish farming industry now!!!!
Due to the effects of wild salmon stock globally!
That so we, our kids have chance to perform this sport in future. And if nothing else, save wild salmon from extinction so they can live as they have done for thousands of years.

Our days at Finnmark is soon over for this time. And who knows if it was the last for a while.... we as sports fishermen also need to do our part in conserving the wild salmon.

Just recived news from the Switzerland clients Patrick & Morris who stilll are in Älvdalen, performing pike fishing on thier own after our guided days. Yesterday they started the day with a 90+cm pike. Then followed by this 2 scandinavian crocodiles in one and same local lake from my guide boat. 109cm and 114cm long. All carefully released again to its habitat. Congratulations boys, now pursuit a 120+!
