Our latest Airbnb guest review… 🥹🫶
”What a fantastic house to be able to stay at! As taken out of an interior design magazine but still, homely, warm and welcoming. The hostess has put that little extra into everything, from a well-equipped kitchen, that I enjoyed cooking meals in a lot to the soft linen bed sheets and towels, the nice bathroom amenities and the books, games and magazines to read. My husband and son particularly enjoyed the table tennis upstairs and of course also the pool. I went up every morning, doing my yoga routine by the pool side at the beautiful stone patio and took a swim afterwards, enjoying the calm surroundings.
A very comfortable, luxury slow living stay - but still with WiFi and TV so we could watch the Olympics:)
This is for sure where we will stay any time we will visit Öland in the future (if available of course ;)) and I look forward using that beautiful log fire burner in the kitchen if we visit in the colder seasons.
This house is a treat and comes highly recommended! Thanks a lot!”

Book your stay at our farm from the 19th century, now transformed into a charming Boutique Airbnb. The Stonecutter is beautifully renovated and so full of details that reminds us of the farm’s historical heritage from the limestone industry.
Here you have the whole farm to yourself (2 hectares). It is the perfect romantic place for you to just slow down, relax & recharge.
Planning to propose to the love of your life? Well, we have the most romantic backdrop for you (our wind mill is a popular spot we’ve heard;-)) Celebrate your wedding anniversary? Birthday anniversary coming up? Whatever the occasion - this place is so special.

Practical notes: Fully equipped kitchen, one bathroom, one guest toilet. Sleeps maximum 4; 2 bedrooms with doublebeds. Downstairs there’s one bedroom, and if you book 3-4 people, we open up the loft for you where the second bedroom is.

Outside there are many nice sitting areas. In summertime the heated pool is really the big center of attention, open from mid May until beginning of September. We also have a beautiful greenhouse where you can have dinner or take a nap, perfect for those chilly evenings or in case of rain.

🐓🤎 The old henhouse. We just had to keep that little cute house when building the pool. It’s so cute, don’t you think?! We can easily imagine, over 100 years ago, when the Stonecutter’s wife went out early in the morning to collect eggs for the morning’s breakfast. So important to start the day with a heavy meal considering the heavy work with the limestone during the day.
The little henhouse was a total wreck, we had to build it up again, but luckily we could keep the roof tiles.

🐓🤎 Det gamla hönshuset. Vi var ju bara tvungna att behålla det lilla söta skjulet när vi skulle bygga poolen. Visst är den charmig?! Det är lätt att föreställa sig att för över 100 år sedan, gick nog stenhuggarens fru ut tidigt på morgonen för att samla ägg till morgonens frukost. En stadig frukost var ju ett måste för att klara av det tunga stenarbetet.
Vårt lilla hönshus var ett vrak, vi fick bygga upp det igen nästan från början. Men de vackra takpannorna kunde vi rädda!

Come stay a while🤎 If you feel like, you can stay in all day long. It’s perfectly fine. We have everything you could ever need. Piles of books, board games and puzzles. Most are all hidden inside this large cabinet. But books you can also find piles of here and there around the house🤎 A whole bunch of cook books in the kitchen. Some art and design books in the hallway. (Don’t miss out The Poetry of Spaces by fab .co when you stay here!) Crime stories in the sun room (Johan Theorins Öland quartet series)

We just added some more novels the with origin or plot from our island Öland. How exciting! Swipe to see 📚

(And - if you’re more of a watching Netflix person? Relax. We do have smart tv and WiFi 🫶)

What a wonderful journey we started one year ago. One year of hard work, some struggles along the way, so many lovely guests, and the best reviews we could ever have asked for🙏🏻🥹. It is absolutely overwhelming to see that our guests really appreciate the world of Stonecutters Farm that we have created.

🤎WELCOME🤎 You have 2 hectare (20 000 m2) all by yourself here at the farm. Go out just explore the surroundings, you don’t really need to leave the farm.

The pink barn - (our next project! Will be another rental apartment here in hopefully not too long! It’s going to be soo cool, don’t you think?!) is the old brewhouse where brewing beer took place and also butchering and sausage making back in the days…

Our farm house is one of three in our village, a so called row village, where the houses are built in a row along the village street. Also all buildings are placed to maximize protection towards the strong winds.

Our old wind mill of course is a real eye catcher and a very classic silhouette of the islands history. These days only a few of them still standing.

The old forge - Dilapidated today, but very central and important at Stenhuggaren’s farm a hundred years ago. The heavy stone work required many hours in the forge for the manufacture and maintenance of all different tools.

The wings of history remind us everywhere we go. 🤎🤎🤎
