In the beautiful country side in Värmland, Sweden, we live with our horses and other animals on our "Little Farm". In the summer we organize different horse activities:
Horseback riding in the beautiful nature, short-tours up to day-tours, and our back-to-basic multi-day trails (5 days), a real adventure! For adults, children, experienced but also beginners, everybody is welcome! Or book a chuckw

agon tour with the whole family! We rent out a holiday house as well. In the winter we organize horse activities on our Little farm in Ekshärad such as sleigh tours, horseback riding for adults and children. Stay a night (or several nights on the farm) and enjoy the animals & the nature around the farm. Just ask us for the possibilities! In de prachtige natuur van Varmland, Zweden, leven wij met onze paarden en andere dieren op onze kleine boerderij. In de zomer organiseren wij paardenactiviteiten: paardrijden in de mooie natuur, van korte buitenritten tot lange buitenritten en zelfs trektochten van een aantal dagen waarbij we slapen in de bossen, een echt avontuur! In de winter organiseren wij paardenactiviteiten vanaf onze boerderij in Ekshärad zoals arresleetochten, buitenritten in de natuur voor volwassenen en kinderen. Äntligen är stallet färdig och godkänt! 🤩
Vi tackar alla som har hjälpt till Hans Haglund , Sören Haglund , Emtbjörks AB , Wiel utan Fb, schuckman, , Sem van Bodegraven , Mink utan fb, Bas Spaanderman och alla andra som har hjälpt till.
Vi har taget ner byggnaden 55m x 14m i Filipstad och bygdde up den igen hemma 25m x 14m och 18m x 14m.
Hela stallet utan platan är återanvänd så, 90% återanvänd.
Stall inredning kommer från en stall i Stockholm och har vi gjort om tills f***r vägg.
Härligt vinterstall för hästarna 😄

Finally our stable is finished and approved! 🤩
We thank you all! Hans Haglund, Sören Haglund, Emtbjörks AB, Wiel utan fb, Bas Schuckman, Gerhard, Bas Spaanderman, Sem van Bodegraven, Mink utan fb, Renate Van Breda, Jerker beton and all others who helped !
We have dismantled the stable 55m x 14m in Filipstad and rebuilt it at home in 2 parts 1 of 25m x 14m and 1 of 18m x 14m so everything except the floor is re used so 90% recycled.
The stable walls come from a stable in Stockholm and we made the feeding wall from those.
A really nice winterstable for the horses 😄

Winter is around the corner ❄️

A season with something…magical. Everything slows down, both nature, the animals, and the people. Winters means darker days, beautiful snowfalls, and quietness. It is time for rest and recharging for the upcoming spring.

Especially now we have to live with the flow of nature, and of course enjoy it as much as possible. It gives the opportunity to start new projects, go for some nice winter adventures like ice skating, and the horses enjoy a big vacation. Let this beautiful season begin 🙌🏼 ❤️❄️

Autumn is coming!🍁 Some might even call it the most beautiful season in Sweden. It means a wonderful colourpallet and delicious fresh air. Perfect to start new projects after a great summer season such as fence work, and the horses can enjoy their extra free days🐴.
But, it does not stop us from organising fun activities! So, are you excited to experience this amazing season in Sweden? Natural Horse herd

At Our Little Farm we keep our horses in herds. This has different advantages for the wellbeing of the horses. Horses that used to live in a stable and later on joined a herd, you see a lot of mental changes. Keeping the horses in groups means they can always socialise with each other. Think of playing, scratching and resting. Here, each has a preference for another horse to socialise with. Besides that, we keep our horses outside day and night. They have unlimited access to hay and water and each paddock has a shelter place for bad weather . This way, we try to keep our horses in an as natural way as possible to keep them healthy and happy.

Come with us on a chuckwagon tour! Holly will take you on a wonderful tour through the forests of Värmland, Sweden🐴. Sit back comfortable on the sheep sheets and enjoy the surrounding nature and the relaxing sounds of horse hooves and bird choires🦜. The wagon tour is perfect for different groups of people, both young and old. You can choose to have a grill included as well🔥. Besides our own farm animals, Swedish nature also has a great wildlife! Think of deers, badgers, squirrels, but also foxes and mooses!🦊🦌🦨🫎 With our wildlife camera's we can check which animals are active around the farm. This creates great shots📸. Even though these animals are used to the challenges of the Swedish winter, we help them a little bit on the way. This is done by putting hay and mineral stones in the forest which helps these great animals in surviving the cold Swedish winters❄️. Do you also want to spot the incredible Swedish wildlife and learn all about them? We offer exciting Wildlife Safari's both during winter and summer!
