Our Story
Kristoffer Averheim formed the company Heart Rate Travels in 2017. The passion for cycling and running and love to Sweden got him into the tourism industry.
”I loved the countless numbers of business trips to other countries, and I realized how underestimated Sweden was. The unspoiled nature, the lack of traffic jam, the modern Scandinavian kitchen and easiness to communicate to almost anyone in English was something unique to Sweden that I couldn’t find in any other of the 20+ countries I’ve visited so far during business trips”.
Sweden has plenty of roads with almost no traffic, a nature shifting from deep forests to archipelagos with thousands of islands and a mountain chain almost empty of people.
Our vision is to show the best parts of Sweden from the view of your bike or by running in our amazing nature. Many of our tours will go through the Bohuslän county – ranked as one of the worlds most beautiful wildernesses by CNN and most tours will start and end in Gothenburg – a city loved by the fashion magazine Vogue. We will also visit several UNESCO world heritages. Did we mention Guide de Michelin?
