The most popular annual event in the rugby union calendar sees the heavyweights of Europe play each other in the Six Nations championship. For five weekends across February and March all attention turns to some historic fixtures as England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland compete against each other and France and Ireland.

Gridiron is making its annual pilgrimage to Europe – and we can make sure you’re there to see the action live and close up!
Two games will be played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the first on October 6 seeing Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets take on the Minnesota Vikings.
That is followed a week later when the Jacksonville Jaguars make their 12th London appearance, this time against the Chicago Bears.
The final match sees the Jaguars back in action at Wembley Stadium, when they face the multiple Superbowl winners the New England Patriots! The game takes place on Sunday, October 27.

Gothenburg is Sweden’s second largest city and a contrast to the capital: a really vibrant place with character on the western coast. The long boulevard Avenyn is lined with bars and cafes, packed on summer evenings.
IFK Gothenburg is the city’s big club, playing at the Gamla Ullevi – a stadium they share with two other teams, GAIS and Örgryte IS meaning you can expect games there every weekend! Across the river, BK Häcken won the Allsvenskan in 2022 for the first time.

Nickes.Com were recently able to help a father and son on a whirlwind football trip to Italy!
John Hall booked up a midweek break to Milan with his son Ollie, who has been following Serie A league leaders Napoli - and they were the visitors on the night against Inter.
It wasn't to be for Napoli, as a second half header from Dzeko gave Inter all three points.
John described the atmosphere around the San Siro as amazing, and it was a quick return after the game as we secured them a hotel close by.
The following day there was time to check out the stadium and club shop in daylight before checking out the centre of Milan itself!

It's great to hear from our travellers about their experiences - and most recently that included Simon and Julie Cox who took in the Lisbon derby!
Simon confirmed it was a fantastic experience, the passion of the fans of both Benfica and Sporting made it a really special occasion.
He advises you to arrive early, at least an hour beforethe game, as most of the 62,000 fans congregate outside at the fan areas and concession stalls. And make sure you're in your seat to see the eagle display 15 minutes before kick off!
There was constant communication up to the point of delivery of tickets, and we offered Simon some good tips regarding Lisbon and Benfica.
