Globally, people average 6 hours and 40 minutes of screen time per day (DataReportal). That's insane. Half of that is a lot.

And we're no better. However, we recognise our own fault and created something to help a bit.

Our cabin aims to provide the right setting for a digital detox. A modern cabin with everything you need, smack in the middle of a forest. Going for a walk in Humlegårdsstrand, you might wave to a local, but another tourist? Almost certainly not. It's a special place for that reason.

So can you lock your phone in a beautiful wooden box (provided by Wooden Banana) for a couple of days? Is that inconceivable? If so, you might be in that 6 hour 40 minute crowd. Meaning a digital detox in nature is the ancient remedy you need for this modern problem.

Today was a bit chilly at Klipporna, but sometimes you just need to live a little, right? Just kidding - this wasn't taken today, but rather this past summer, which is actually why we're sharing this photo. June dates for next summer are being booked up quite quickly, which we're very grateful for. And while it might feel far away, it could be time to start planning ahead if you'd like to stay in the cabin then. Thank you to everyone who has booked so early!

Oh, and about Klipporna, where this photo was taken - it's about a 15-minute walk through a beautiful trail in the woods behind the cabin, and it's definitely our favourite beach in the area.
