We've updated our homepage during the New Year's break and the link to the 2025 Transylvania Tour with Dacre Stoker Author was updated.

So we are reposting this information to make sure nobody is missing the correct itinerary.

Pausing in our rush here on the other side of the Globe, to think of the pain this most beloved city is going through now, and to share this very true message, every word of it, of our dear Victoria Price (whom we had the honor to meet during a Transylvania tour that made history).

Read it, reflect and act. All little actions matter. And then they are not little anymore.

Often on social media, when I express empathy about a tragedy affecting others — people comment, “I am sorry for your loss.”

I want to be clear: this post is not about me. This is not about my father. This is not about my family.

This post is about the City of Los Angeles and all the humans, animals, beautiful wild spaces, and historic places lost and still being affected by the wildfires.

In writing that my heart aches for those who have lost so much or places that now are gone, I am writing as someone who loves my hometown, who has dear friends there, who has lived through natural disasters, and who lost my aunt and uncle in a California wildfire. Which is to say, my response to this catastrophe feels deep & personal.

That does not make this post about me. It explains my impetus for sharing this with anyone in LA who needs to hear it.

You may feel alone, but all of us witnessing this devastation are holding you in our hearts. We will help however we can. Even if it feels like you’re going through something no one else can really understand, you are not alone. Really, Los Angelenos, you are NOT alone.

I am also writing to those, like me, who are not in Los Angeles or Gaza or the Ukraine or or or.

It is easy to see all the horror happening in the world and tune it out — or move on. To think — what can I possibly do to help in the face of so much devastation around the globe?

But isn’t the point of feeling things deeply in our hearts to galvanize us to create a better future? 
Yes yes yes!!!

What does that look like? That’s a question each of us must answer for ourselves.

Fortunately, I work for a nonprofit that is already creating fundraisers. Fortunately, I can make donations to organizations on the ground and still pay my bills. Fortunately, I have seen the aftermath of experiences like this and know they can help people and communities come back stronger.

For those of you who are looking for a way to help, listen to your heart and commit to showing up wherever it leads you that can make a difference.

This is how we help.
This is how we heal.
This is how we move forward.

Dracula, Nosferatu and Transylvania are 3 names that often come as a package.

Dacre Stoker Author, great-grandnephew of Bram Stoker, dedicated over a decade of his work to researching how his ancestor put all these 3 names together, like a wizzard would throw 3 secret ingredients toghether to blend a magic potion, creating what could be seen as the most popular gothic novel of all times.

Over the past years, Dacre has been leading tours to locations connected to the novel DRACULA: Transylvania, Whitby, Ireland, Scotland.

In 2025, he is going to lead a unique tour, reconstructing parts of the trail of Jonathan Harker in the Carpathians, in search of the fictional Castle Dracula.
