To prove the function and performance of our SCRmarine system, STT Emtec have applied for and received a Statement of Compliance from DNV-GL. This document verifies that the system complies to and reduces NOx emissions down to IMO Tier III level. However a Statement of Compliance (SoC) is not be confused with an EIAPP or a Type Approval.

The Golden Arrow Marine name has been associated with delivering the highest level of engineering service and support to the marine industry since 1935.

The possible NOx reduction on an average city passanger ferry is equal to 1000 Volkswagens.

The average city passenger ferry emits about 5000 kg of NOx a year, which can be reduced by 75% using STT Emtec´s SCR system.

The average 3 year old Volkswagen Passat diesel should emit about 1,5 kg of NOx per 10.000 km. If the Volkswagen really emits about 5 kg of NOx per 10.000 km, the increased NOx emission from 1000 Volkswagens will be equal to the possible NOx reduction from one ferry.

Genombrott för STT Emtec AB på den Norska marina marknaden
STT Emtec AB kommer via sin Norska partner, J. Weiberg Gulliksen AS, att leverera avgasreningssystemet SCRmarine till Bastö Fosen AS. Systemen skall installeras på hjälpmotorer på färgan Bastö III trafikerande leden Moss – Horten.
Färjan är den första av 4 som skall byggas om för att möta det nya internationella kravet IMO Tier III för NOx utsläpp.
”Vi är mycket stolta över att få leverera våra system och hoppas att vi även för kommande ombyggnationer får äran leverera avgsreningssystemen” säger Glenn Berglund på STT Emtec AB.
