Ursjön is a probably the water on the globe that has produced most big crucians. A challenging water for those who have the ability to focus and concentrate.

Last call for this exciting crucian fishing?
Hello, another year is coming to an end. In short, the fishing in Ursjön has been the most difficult ever. Despite serious attempts, we have not managed to land any crucian. Maybe the few crucian swimming there have so much food that they "didn't need to be tricked into our traps." What we now is that they have been in fantastic shape the last years and more people than me have been talking about that they can reach record weights.
In Forest Lake, fantastically nice crucians have been caught. I don't think you can ask for more from a fishing lake than what you get there; a deep closeness to the fish and nature, strong feelings of excitement and a natural fishing that is becoming increasingly rare.
Right now I am thinking about what the future looks like and what we will offer going forward. Maybe it is a "last call" for this fishery under these forms. Maybe we will continue for many years to come. I take nothing for granted, but am starting to see an end after being responsible for this for many, many years.
