There’s so much we can do: serious meetings that switch into a refreshing walk-and-talk, and even some fun on the farm. We look back on a beautiful season filled with wonderful encounters and great stories. Our new outdoor breakfast was a hit, and we can’t wait to continue it next year!

✨ An unforgettable journey and Marco’s birthday celebration! ✨

Hej Hej lovely followers, this is not a Glamping post, this is a way of life post. I hope all enjoy en be inspired. Adventures are there where you go…

"Amid the smoky scent of cured fish and the warmth of a crackling fire in the lavvu tent, culture weaves its stories, and the simple joy of togetherness becomes a feast for the soul."

On Sunday, we embarked on a trip to the far North for Marco’s work. And I need a time out, after a stressful time behind. Yesterday was a day we will never forget!

After visiting juhlssilvergallery, I noticed a fire glowing in a Lavvu tent. My curiosity led me there, where I met john.s.baal, a Sámi who was smoking fish the traditional way. I told him I had bought gifts for the girls back home, and that Marco loves smoked fish and was celebrating his birthday. I asked if I could buy a fish for his special day. Long story short, by the afternoon, we were sitting on the ground around the fire inside the Lavvu tent with a group of people. We laughed, sang, and soaked in the rich culture. It was truly unforgettable! 🙏💚👌🏕️🌱🍂😘

Later in the evening, we had a romantic dinner at the hotel Thorn and ended the night in the whirlpool bath with the Northern Lights dancing above us. 🌟💚

Life is so beautiful—adventures, work, discoveries. Grateful for everything and everyone! 🙏✨
A longer post about these two magical days will follow later! What will today bring? Marco is out inspecting power lines, and I’m off on my own little adventure… no plans, no expectations, just open to what’s ahead.

✨ Cherishing those little moments of happiness! 🌱

🌞 The sun is shining warmly, and it feels like summer is making a comeback. The sheep and horses have a fresh patch of pasture, and the non-stop eating has begun. Tonaco can handle it, and some of the sheep too, but our young fjord stallion Elmo doesn’t seem to have an off switch... except when I tried to take some photos, haha!

🏡 The pavilion is now surrounded by grazing animals, and the sun and peace bring the perfect energy to fully enjoy it all. After receiving many requests for the Glamping and experiencing a busy season, I’ve decided to keep everything running at home. The work at the vet's became too much along with everything that needs to be done here. After a good conversation, I’ll definitely be there when they needed, but otherwise, the focus is on the farm/ Glamping.

🍅 The tomatoes are finally turning red, and the cucumbers are growing well, though without actual cucumbers. Slowly getting everything ready for winter. Soon, we’ll be living in a winter wonderland again, but first, let's enjoy autumn to the fullest! And the best part: Marco is finally coming home tonight. Looking forward to enjoying everything around us together.

🍂Autumn teaches us the beauty of letting go, as nature reflects on the past and prepares for new beginnings.🌱💚

💚When you're missing a hug, a warm coffee tastes even sweeter ☕💛. Last Thursday, I treated myself to a delicious latte macchiato and a chicken curry sandwich—because sometimes, you need to take care of yourself first so you can take care of others. Thx kaffe_smak. 👌

What you sow, you reap. Last weekend was a celebration! 🎉🌱🥗 I prepared two wonderful arrangements and meals straight from my own garden. It’s almost all gone, but I had a bit of lamb🐑 left for Saturday night. There’s something truly special about not just sharing your farm, but also the food harvested from it.🙏💚

Summer time is precious, and with extra work at the vet clinic, I’ve fallen behind on many things. Meanwhile, Marco is still in Norway, with every weekend this month fully booked. So exciting!🍂🍄🏕️⭐️

Sometimes, you need to step away to appreciate what you've built at home. Blood, sweat, and tears—keep pushing forward in what you believe in.

As we look back on a successful summer season, we also look forward to the transformative autumn and winter ahead. 🍂✨

After 5 years of Glamping, we’ve walked many paths—big, small, exciting, and inspiring. Some of these paths have blossomed into something truly special. Our decision in 2020 to focus on creating better, rather than more, locations has been a valued choice. This is a journey we will continue, making our stays even more luxurious and exclusive. 🌟🏕️

There will also be changes. Although we’ll remain open year-round, we will only operate from Friday to Sunday. This shift allows us to focus on our other work (Marco drone work, Nicole a new job soon more about that), as it is challenging to fully sustain ourselves through Glamping alone. After numerous investments in the Glamping, we’ve realized that we’ve neglected our own home, which now needs major renovations. Building a new life is often breathtakingly beautiful in dreams, but in reality, it’s an adventure with steep climbs and deep valleys. Staying true to our hearts and ourselves remains our greatest challenge. 💭🏡

After 8 years here, many of our dreams have come together, and we’re still sometimes overwhelmed by all that has happened.

A flow of gratitude, perseverance, intuition, and resilience has brought us to this moment. 💪❤️

The fire is central to our lives here—it’s where we cook, find warmth, and store every sparkle as a cherished memory. 🔥

Hey dear followers, yesterday Marco took two beautiful photos of me and my soulmate Elmo. From the advertisement photo on the internet to now, I feel a very strong bond with him. He fits perfectly into our family, and my heart overflows with love for this new horse breed.

A way of life. You never know where it will take you. The glamping is more than I ever dreamed of—two horses of our own: the wise old mentor Tonaco and the young carefree Elmo. There is so much to learn from them!

As summer fades to autumn, we enjoy the evening light and darker nights. Berries and mushrooms are everywhere.

Exploring new places like the stunning Viking burial grounds along Ångermanälven is amazing.

Home is busy with garden upkeep. The greenhouse was a jungle of tomatoes and cucumbers, while the herb circle is in full bloom. Even our late-planted potatoes are thriving.

Busy summer with unforgettable encounters, new places, and a new hobby for Yara and Marco. We've taken up fishing—first catches are in the freezer!

Update: Soon, we’ll be open only Fri-Sun. Book your autumn package for 2 days of nature, cozy fires, and relaxation. Stays now include dinner and breakfast, cooked over the fire.

Amid all the hustle and bustle, it's still vacation time, and we always seize the chance for a quick getaway! 🧳✨ Discovering new places, meeting new people, and fully enjoying the present moment. Yesterday, we ended up at a cozy little Fika house in Nyland, which was once an old Telegraph building. What a warm welcome! Delicious sandwiches, coffee, pastries—we tried everything on the terrace with soothing jazz music creating the perfect atmosphere. 🎷☕

I highly recommend everyone to experience a lunch or Fika at the old Telegraph building in Nyland!

While the busy bees around the farmfields are hard at work pollinating,

- Vanlife/overland package always includes outdoor dinner and breakfast.
- Starting today, you can only book a Glamping experience with outdoor dinner and the option to add a sauna or hot tub. It is no longer possible to just sleep in a Glamping tent here.

Additionally, we have 2 group journey’s planned (from the Netherlands to Sweden), including travel, accommodation, and various activities.

May I introduce you to Poco loco!!!He was born last weekend, luckily Sterre was awake and felt she had to have a look in the stable, there was mummy sheep in labour. One was already out and doing well, poco loco was not. He was alive however the mother did not want him and he was very weak. Instant video call to us in Stockholm and I said bring him inside into the warmth. Yara lit the fireplace and he was laid in front of it on a blanket. The bottle was made and lots of love was given.After a while, he jumped up and hardly lay down quietly. He is doing well with the cats and the dog inside, however, among the sheep he is still rejected at the moment. .🥣🪵🔥 Watch out this is really nice to work with! Be warned! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👍 Yesterday we received a beautiful pan set from Vargen & Thor. At the Nordic Days we got in touch with Peter and Yvonne. They are the retailers in the Netherlands of the Swedish brand Vargen & Thor a tough and adventurous brand with which you can give your kitchen a strong Nodic look!🇸🇪 Today I made my first Nordic Mamma meal! What a delight!!! For me, the pans are not plumb heavy and yet they distribute the heat well all around, it does not burn and also stays hot well after the fire! Extreme temperature differences they withstood well! On the menu today was lamb meatballs from our own farm. Potatoes with red cabbage and pointed cabbage very fine with an onion. Delicious home-made apple sauce! To go with Mjälloms Tunnbröd AB and Norrmejerier butter with a nice cheese. Do you also want a Nordic style in your kitchen?
