Today, on the anniversary of her death, we honor Dian Fossey. She sacrificed her life to save gorillas.

Because of the courageous work she started, mountain gorillas have survived and are the only great ape population increasing – a rare conservation success story.

Because of her life and work, an immeasurable impact has been made not only on the gorillas' continued existence in our world today, but on conservation efforts worldwide.

Because of the ground-breaking conservation foundation she laid, we are able to continue her legacy. 💛
