So Hup Ann Makan Tours has been looking for all food related activities since the Covid-19 Pandemic, since all outbound and inbound tours are prohibited by the Government.

We searched for another avenue and chanced upon a blog that is interesting - Home baking. Stay at home and bake your own confectionery!

http://poofybakes.com features a lady who bakes her own bread, cakes and cookies at home, among other baked goodies. What is interesting about this blog is that it takes the reader into the challengers and pitfalls of baking some of the confectionery that we so take so for granted for when we are able just to buy it off the shelf.

Take for example her No-Bake cheesecake. She features the makings of the cake in three different parts and highlights the difficulties of just making the crust from scratch with consistency. Not mention the pain of getting the cheese to set and harden so that the cake doesn't fall apart!
