The event is in its 31st edition and our private group of participants took part in the 5KM scenic walk and 21KM run.
Running in the cool crisp weather alongside rows of mature cherry blossom trees makes for a memorable run.
Before the running event, the group toured various scenic and historic sites in Busan and Gyeongju.

What a way to welcome in the spring season! We had so much fun exploring Olle Trails 1 & 6 and challenged ourselves up Mount Hallasan to conclude our wonderful time on Jeju Island!
More than half the group are new to multi-day hiking holidays and we are happy and thankful they chose us to kickstart their hiking journey.
On our recent trip to Shizuoka prefecture, home of Mount Fuji, we were able to see the starting location of the Sea2Summit hiking route of the tallest mountain in Japan. Traditionally, hikers will go to the sea to collect some seawater and bring up to the summit and let the water flows back to the sea. You can also go to the beach to touch the seawater ceremoniously, pick up a stone to bring to the shrine at the starting point to pray for a safe hike. And that's what we did although we can't climb during this period.
The entire hike length is 42 KM, as long as a full marathon and the elevation achieved will be, as the trip name suggests, 0 metres to 3776 metres.

We spent our Saturday cycling in Johor State, from Kampong Melayu to Puteri Harbour to Kukup, covering a total of 65 KM. The highlight of the ride would probably be the riding over Kukup's newest bridge.
This is a great ride for anyone keen to take on a cycling holiday but not too sure whether they can do it, and also for those training for their upcoming cycling holidays.

Our 1st hike of the year 2024 brought us to Johor, Malaysia for a day trip to ascend Bukit Lunchu to see the Seri Alam blue lake. We were blessed and grateful for the fabulous weather when we were hiking. Because it has been raining very frequently for the past few days before we hiked, the minerals from the rainwater collected did not settle down in time and the colour of the water turned emerald green instead of shades of blue or turquoise.

The 15th edition of Shimada Oigawa Marathon in Shizuoka prefecture of Japan took place in October last month. The running festival kicked off along Oi River which flows from the Japan Southern Alps with over 3,000 metres high alpine mountains.
The running course is flat and traffic-free which is good for achieving personal best and strongly recommended for 42.195 KM marathon debut runners. The ASTONISHING waterpoint at 32-KM mark is definitely the biggest highlight of the event with over 30 different kinds of food served to runners. Check out the video (4:10m) to believe.

The Via Alpina is a classic long-distance hike in Switzerland. This trail will take hikers through the northern Alps of Switzerland in a series of 20 stages of trek, with 14 alpine passes through the picture-perfect landscapes of the Swiss Alps and great variety of Swiss alpine culture, flora and fauna.
We are privileged to help organised a self-guided trip for the Camino Family hiking group in August this year. 12 hikers embarked on almost the entire full course of 320 KM and 25 hikers attempted 165 KM, starting from the famous Bear Trek section.

The group spent a jolly good time exploring and admiring the beautiful golden rice terraces of Sa Pa, a small mountain town in Lao Cai province in the north of Vietnam. Sa Pa is home to five different ethnic tribal groups and surrounded by beautiful natural scenery of the Hoang Lien Son range of mountains, the eastern edge of the Himalayas.
We worked with a local social enterprise, who is the first ethnic minority owned, not-for-profit travel partner in Sa Pa, promoting sustainable and responsible tourism. Part of their earning (after covering costs) goes back to supporting the local community, with a deep focus on education and training for the youths. Our partner operates with a mission of giving back to the ethnic minorities in Sa Pa so that they can be self-sustainable without relying on donations.

Recap #HikingInKyrgyzstan Often referred to as the “Switzerland of Central Asia”. Trekking is the best way to appreciate the natural beauty of Kyrgyzstan. We went in July to see the pristine nature in rarely touched places, admire stunning lakes and meet the locals. Admiring the turquoise-coloured alpine lake, Ala-Kul is located high up in the mountains at a height of 3,530 M, nestled in between jagged and snowcapped peaks – the experience is surreal. And the only way to see it - is by foot. A refreshing start of the vacation saw us kayaking across the tranquil lake Issyk-Kul, the 2nd largest salt lake in the world and a biking spree along the alpine lake. The horseback riding experience was definitely one of the favourite highlights of the hikers to help us cover the last 8-KM of the hike which we are supposed to walk after a steep high altitude descent. There are so many more hidden gems to uncover in Kyrgyzstan and the untouched nature is simply magnificent. Regardless you are beginner hiker or an advanced hiker, there is so much to do. Even if you do not wish to hike but want to go into nature, mountains to see its many lakes, perhaps a horseback riding tour fits the bill.
