We watched two breathtaking performances by Ms.Katryna Tan, who was invited as a guest performer & jury member at the 35th Nippon-Japan International Harp Festival in Soka. She mesmerized the audience with her original works: 将进酒, Song Before Wine and Water Dance. joining her on stage was harpist Jia Hui Loh to perform Water Dance duet together.

It was truly a privilege to be able to play Katryna Tan’s original works on the world stage, and even more special to share it with the wonderful audience at this prestigious festival. A celebration of music, artistry, and unforgettable moments! 🩵

🎶 What an unforgettable experience at 2024 Soka International Harp Festival! 🌟

Rave Harpers Ensemble was invited as guests to present our Pluck Musical in Japan! what an honour.
[“Pluck Visits the Land of the Rising Sun” is produced by artistic director Katryna Tan and co-produced with Mieko Inoue ]

It was made even more special with collaboration of performing with young harpists from Japan! We enjoyed sharing our love for the harp and connecting with a global audience has been nothing short of magical.

Thank you to everyone who came to support the show—we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! ❤️ Here's to more music and more moments like this! 🎵

Soka International Harp Festival! A week of celebration of harps in Soka, Japan with competitions, harp concerts and harp musicals.

Looking forward to the gala concert on Nov 17 with winners from the competitions, performance by Katryna Tan and of some of some original works by and presenting our musical “Pluck visits the land of Rising Sun”! 34 harpists (26 from Singapore and 8 from Japan) will collaborate to present this fun magical harp musical. Come join us!
