It was a late afternoon in 1996, and our founder Dave Wee received a call to take a job at an ad agency. Dave showed up at around 6 pm and spent the next 12 hours with the creative director to prepare for a pitch to be presented in the morning. It was exhausting to work through the night, but he felt a great sense of achievement. The creative director liked what he did and he has been involved in

many more projects since. Dave learned something valuable from this experience: 80% of success is just showing up. Dave founded Dave Wee Associates, the agency he helped grow to become Ah Zi Design, jointly helm with our co-founder, Ang Poh Tze (her family nickname is Ah Zi). At Ah Zi Design, we believe in growing sustainably. After more than 20 years in the business, we remain small with just over ten staff. We build lasting relationships with our clients, vendors and our people. We wake up every day, ready to seize opportunities that come our way. Just like that afternoon in 1996, we continue to show up.
