MINDSG Ltd is looking for a Speech Language Therapist (Full Time)!
1. Assessment, Therapy Planning, and Implementation:
Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication needs for clients with intellectual disabilities and autism. Develop and implement customized therapy plans using evidence-based approaches. Deliver individual/group therapy to improve communication, social interactions, and academic performance.
2. Collaborative Teamwork:
Collaborate with educators and therapists to integrate therapy goals into learning plans. Provide training to educators and caregivers on AAC and communication strategies. Assist in designing curricula for special education.
3. Administrative Tasks:
Handle clinical administration tasks such as documentation, scheduling, and managing materials. Contribute to department operations and staff coordination.
4. Professional Development:
Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in research to improve therapeutic practices and outcomes.
Requirements
• Bachelor/Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an AHPC recognised institution.
• Proven experience working with school-aged children who have intellectual disabilities and autism.
• Entry level therapists are welcome (supervision will be provided). Salary will commensurate with applicant's experience and qualification.
• Strong ability to work effectively within collaborative, interdisciplinary teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt therapy approaches based on individual needs.
• Empathetic, patient, and passionate about supporting diverse learners in an educational setting.
