Breakoff will be closed this Friday, 13 Feb from 5 - 8pm for a private booking. Normal operations will resume on Saturday.

Hi all, there have been some changes to the event details.

The deadline for registration has been extended to 30 January. As such, the Tournament start date will be pushed back to 3 February.

The registration fee for males has also been reduced to $10.
The registration fee for females remains unchanged.

The prize structure has also been changed:

Champion (Men): $70 + Trophy
Runner-Up (Men): $40 + Trophy
Semi-Finalists (Men): $25

Champion (Ladies): $40 +Trophy
Runner-Up (Ladies): $25 + Trophy
Semi-Finalists (Ladies): $10
The Ladies event might be cancelled if the registration number is low so do keep a look out for any further announcements.

The group stages of the Breakoff 8-Ball League have recently concluded. Congratulations to all players who have qualified for the semifinals!

The semifinal fixtures are as follows:

MALES (Race to 3)

With Science's lost to Business and SDE's win over Medicine on Day 3 of the league last Monday, the match between SDE and Science on Day 4 of the league this coming Monday could very well be the title decider match.

Day 2 of the Inter-Faculty Summer Pool League 2013 was concluded yesterday! The overall results are as follows:

SDE 3- 2 Business
Science 3 - 2 Engineering

Another exciting Round of matches will take place next Monday, 24 June. Do come down to support your Faculty and may the best team win!

The first round of matches for the very first Inter-Faculty Summer Pool League 2013 were concluded yesterday! Below are the overall results:

Medicine 1-4 Science
Engineering 5-0 Business

For more details on the action, check out our recently uploaded album containing photos and short notes on the matches that took place!

This means that after the first week, Engineering currently tops the standings, with a perfect record of no games lost. Congratulations to the Engineering team! :)

The action promises to be more exciting next week, when on 17 June, Business takes on the School of Design and Environment, and Engineering faces off against Science (both of whom were victorious yesterday)! So do come down to watch the action, support your friends and perhaps even play a few games of pool by the side.

With the grand opening of Breakoff (Pool Hall) at Yusof Ishak House (YIH), which provides an avenue for NUS students and staffs to enjoy game(s) of pool, or simply to chill and relax.

Following the conclusion of our previous NUS 8-Ball Tournament @ Breakoff, we realised the existence of many pool enthusiasts in NUS, both from the students and staffs population. As such, the Sports Office and teamNUS Cuesports initiated this organisation of an Inter-Faculty League (IFL) for all the 10 faculties.

Unlike the previous format of Inter-Faculty Games (IFG) two years back, when pool was included as one of the competing sports, which ran in the format of Group Stages and then Knock-out Stages, this IFL will allow each faculty to play against all the other 9 faculties this summer, with the Round Robin format for this tournament.

Come and support your faculty this summer, all happening in Breakoff @ YIH!
