Want to be a nano-influencer? Now you can.
- Social Media Platform: Viral-IT
We were recently introduced to a new Singapore-based platform that promises to help Singaporeans monetize their social media account. No joining fees. No membership fees. 100% earnings we are told. Intrigued, we researched further.
What we discovered is that Viral-IT is essentially a digital marketplace that brings nano-influencers and advertisers together. Influencers are given access to a dashboard of links from advertisers, which they can select and share with their friends and family. Each link shared will earn the influencer money, which they can subsequently redeem for CASH or prizes.
We signed-up and tried it out.
𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗨𝘀𝗲? The interface was simple and easy to use. Unfortunately, we are told that the platform is still in beta testing and there is no app version as yet. Finding links to share was also simple. But as the platform is new, the number of advertisers has not reached critical mass. In the one week we explored the app, we shared 3 links.
𝗦𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻? Viral-IT pays by a tier system depending on the number of followers you have. At the low end, you get SGD0.50 per link share, and at the higher end, you get SGD1.50. Not a lot, but we are told that the amount will be adjusted once the app takes off and more advertisers come onboard.
𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆? Yes. And no. While it is true that there are no joining fees or membership fees, Viral-IT charges SGD5 for every cashout. This they explained (rather honestly, we might add) is part of their revenue model. In addition, they want to disincentivise users from frequently cashing out as there are administrative costs to process payment. To keep things simple, payment is made via PayNow.
𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗮𝘆 …. Overall, we think that Viral-IT is a promising platform. Without big money backing it, the founders are doing what they can to build it up. We are told that they were profitable from month 3, but that is largely because the founders are doing this as a side hustle.
So whether you are a student who wants to buy a new pair of jeans; a young couple saving up for your wedding or a weekend getaway; or a stay-at-home mom who wants to help pay for the family groceries, Viral-IT will enable anyone to monetize their social media account.
If you want a side hustle that is simple to do and which does not take up much of your time, do check out Viral-IT.com. It will definitely put some extra pocket money into your pocket.

[Review] Upot SingPost Centre ( #01-137/138) Overall Score: 9 out of 15 Service: 4 out of 5 Food: 3 out of 5 Price: 2 out of 5 Overall, our experience was disappointing. While the service was good (waitress was attentive and helpful), the quality of the food was mediocre. We found most of the food tasted "fishy" and the portion small. Also for the price of $50 for a couple, we consider the food pricey for the amount of food we ate. Two plus points we liked was the free free-flow of water and ice-lemon tea and the fact that they did not pad the bill by charging for the wet wipes.
