As the Lunar New Year celebrations come to a close, we reflect on the countless lo-hei gatherings we’ve had—so many that we’ve lost count! 🥢🍊 Each toss was a reminder of the bonds we share and the prosperity we welcome together. We wrapped up the festivities with a special lo-hei today, bringing our team together for one last toss of prosperity on this final day of celebrations. 🎉 Here’s a look back at some of our lo-hei highlights! 📸✨ A big thank you to our colleagues and partners for the generous spread and for making these celebrations so special.

🎄✨ Spreading Holiday Cheer at World Express' Christmas Lunch!

This week, our office was filled with festive joy as we hosted our annual Christmas Lunch for our valued hotel partners and industry friends. It was a heartwarming afternoon where we sang carols together, filling the air with holiday spirit... Indulged in a delicious buffet spread featuring local fare as well as festive favorites and live cooking stations... and shared stories, laughter, and joy.

As the year draws to a close, we reflect on some of the milestones that made 2024 a memorable one for us at World Express. From celebrating our company's 55th year anniversary, unveiling a refreshed brand identity and chapter, to winning Best Destination Management Company (Asia) for another consecutive year at the M&C Asia Stella Awards - it has been a rewarding and eventful year.

The holiday season is all about gratitude, togetherness, and celebration. We're so thankful to have such wonderful partners and friends to share this joyous occasion with. We looking forward to achieving even greater milestones together in the coming year. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year ahead!

Looking back on our time at IMEX America last week, what a privilege it was to attend one of the largest trade shows in the global MICE industry again.

We were represented by World Express MICE Director, EeLing Koh, who connected with industry leaders and partners - friends old and new. We look forward to bringing impactful MICE solutions to our guests and taking them on an Insider’s Journey in Singapore.

World Express recently attended the Seatrade Cruise Global Conference in Fort Lauderdale in late March 2023, connecting with cruise and industry partners.

An exciting announcement shared was news of Disney Cruise Line planning to base a new ship, and home port in Singapore from 2025 onwards. The yet to be named ship, is estimated to be able to carry 6,000 passengers and 2,300 crew members, and would be the largest cruise ship sailing here 🚢 🇸🇬

The Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar 2023 (also known as the Hari Raya Bazaar 2023) begins today, March 17 and will run for 6 weeks ‘till April 22 in its longest-running iteration yet!

The bazaar, which will include some 700 stalls, will coincide with the annual Hari Raya street light-up in Geylang Serai.

Come and visit to soak in the festive Hari Raya spirit these next few weeks!

You'll have a whopping 36 days to browse 700 F&B and retail stalls.

World Express at ITB Berlin 2023 last week - what a time!

Great to see the travel industry converge in real life for this event, especially after nearly 4 years of hiatus. Particularly enriching were the discussions on new innovations in technology and travel solutions in an increasingly hot market, while our world continues to deal with new challenges and shifts in society. We were glad to share more about our bespoke service offerings in Southeast Asia as well as be a part of the diverse travel businesses in representation at ITB’s Asia halls.

Q4 2022 marked the re-opening of the long haul international cruise market in Singapore and many ports in Asia.

World Express welcomed guests from Cunard, Oceania Cruises, and Viking amongst other cruise lines in the past month, providing shore excursion and turnaround services in Singapore. Capacity on board the ships were high, signaling a true recovery in the international cruise market.

One of the tours that we operated for our cruise guests was the Panoramic Singapore Tour. As part of our Panoramic Singapore Tour, guests got the chance to drive through iconic districts - zipping through spots such as Boat Quay, Little India, Chinatown and Orchard Road - for a panoramic view of Singapore before concluding the session at a local coffee shop and sampling kopi for a local experience.
