Hair for Hope is Children's Cancer Foundation's annual iconic fundraiser.
Organised by Children's Cancer Foundation, Hair for Hope is the only head-shaving event in Singapore that serves to raise funds and awareness of childhood cancer. Every shaven head represents an understanding by an individual of the ordeals that a child with cancer is subjected to. HfH also provides an opportunity to garner support from the public in the form of monetary pledging. By volunteering
to shave, the shavees become CCF’s ambassadors in spreading childhood cancer messages to their family, friends and colleagues when garnering monetary support from them. Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF) is a social service agency with a mission of improving the quality of lives of children with cancer and their families and children impacted by cancer through enhancing their emotional, social and medical well-being. Founded in 1992, CCF provides children with cancer and their families the much needed support in their battle against the life threatening illness. Over the years, CCF has helped more than 3700 children and their families at different stages of the illness and recovery. Mission & Vision:

Supporting children impacted by childhood cancer doesn't have to be a daunting act, as demonstrated by Mr. Kwok.
"Shaving your head is painless, and hair grows back. If we can commit to these small actions to show our support for children with cancer, we should. Raising awareness for the cause is important, but helping these individuals return to normalcy is so much more crucial." says Mr. Kwok.
Mr. Kwok has taken a stand to support children and families impacted by childhood cancer by shaving his head, year after year. In 2023, he raised a substantial $17,750 for Hair for Hope. Now, Mr. Kwok returns this year with renewed determination to support children and families impacted by childhood cancer. Mr Kwok further shared that the most memorable moment from last year was witnessing a group of women participating in the shave, showing that it is OK to be bald.

Since 2008, Yi Jun has courageously battled stage 4 Mediastinal Germ Cell Tumour. Despite his own challenges, he has chosen to be a dedicated ambassador to our cause.
