The different sights of Alishan. Alishan has the reputation of being very commercialised. This trip, we are blessed to have a very local experience of the different sights of Alishan and has gained deeper insights to the reowned Alishan, living up to our motto, Travel like the locals. Enjoy!
Beautiful sights of Mt Hehuan.
Visiting Mt Taiping and Cuifeng lake. Not an easy destination to get to. However weather was exceptionally warm.
Found a new interesting place in Yilan where you could cook your food using hot spring water. We were shocked that people actually cook vegetables, corn, sweet potato, eggs, prawns and even lala ( mussels).
For the fun of it, we bought a basket of 8 eggs at NT 60, with a deposit of NT 200. It came with sort of basket that could hold the eggs.
Fun factor 8/10. The eggs tasted real good though.
Is snowing in He Huan Shan. We were pretty lucky to experience driving up the mountains with snowchain. No danger at all though our driver was unsure at first....another new experience.
Strawberries day....Omg they are huge and really sweet. Am having a good time munching them.
