Taipei City has certified 30 businesses in 2024. Spearheaded by the Department of Information and Tourism, Taipei City Government (TPEDOIT), this initiative underscores the city's commitment to building an inclusive, welcoming, and culturally enriching environment for Muslim travelers.

The results were celebrated at an awards ceremony held at Caesar Park Taipei. The event highlighted key milestones of the program, including comprehensive training sessions, onsite counseling, and detailed program briefings. On the F&B front, Hong Kong Tourism Board is teaming up with local halal certifiers BOT to expand halal-certified dining options, encouraging restaurants to join the movement.
